"Zero" (ゼロ, Zero^?) is the theme song of Final Fantasy Type-0. It is performed by BUMP OF CHICKEN and was written and composed by Motoo Fujiwara, the band's vocalist and lead guitarist. "Zero" was released as the band's twenty-first single.

A rearranged, acoustic version of "Zero" plays as the opening theme, while the original version of "Zero" plays during the ending credits. In the game's context, Ace is frequently seen singing this song, as it was taught to him by his "Mother", Arecia Al-Rashia. When talking to him as a non-player character, he initially doesn't remember the opening lines, but over the progress of the story, he remembers them. Ace sings it when visiting the graveyard in Chapter 7, and during the ending, he sings it again to comfort his mourning classmates. As Seven and King observed, Ace only ever knew the first two lines of the song.
