The Yamatano Orochi is a boss first appearing in the Dawn of Souls and 20th Anniversary versions of Final Fantasy II. It guards a treasure chest on the fifth floor of the Unknown Palace containing a Stardust Rod.
The Yamatano Orochi attacks with Poison Cloud XVI, Thunderbolt XVI, and Icestorm XVI. These attacks are not strong on their own, and with Shell cast much of the dragon's damage is reduced. With Minwu's Cure sufficiently leveled, he can heal the party easily of any damage inflicted while the other three members attack.
