Yaibal is a member of the Youth League in Final Fantasy X-2. He is fond of the League and his role within the group.

Yaibal first appears in the Eternal Calm prequel movie, where he tries to recruit Yuna for the Youth League, but she turns him down. He later appears when the Gullwings visit Mushroom Rock, and gives them some information about the Youth League. He also mentions his meeting with Yuna, and those players who had not seen Eternal Calm could be confused when she confirms the two had met before.
