Wu is an enemy in Final Fantasy XII found in the Greensnake and Shred areas of Ozmone Plain. The player can obtain a Kogarasumaru from them as a rare drop, and rarely poach one into a Mage's Hat.

- The feathers of this strain of urstrix carry a distinctly bluish hue, on account of their craving for the flesh of the blue-furred panther. Though its wings have evolved such that it may no longer fly, its hind legs have developed to allow it to walk on land without difficultly. It has adapted remarkably well to life on the ground, being able to perform delicate actions with its vestigial wings, such as the carrying and holding of prey.

Wus often cast Protect or Shell on themselves and each other before approaching the party, and are often found in groups of two to six. In the Ozmone Plain, by running back and forth from where Wus are found to where the save crystal is, the player can create a chain kill of over one hundred in a matter of minutes, especially with the speed-up modes in The Zodiac Age.
