Wild Rose Rebellion

The Wild Rose Rebellion is a resistance organization fighting against the Empire of Palamecia in Final Fantasy II.

It is formed out of the remnants of the Kingdom of Fynn, after it has been conquered by Palamecia. Princess Hilda is the self-professed leader of the resistance movement, along with her assistant Minwu. Firion and his friends join the resistance when they return Scott's ring to Hilda.

Upon the death of the King of Fynn, the young Gordon takes command of the army as per the king's request, helping out Hilda. Once Fynn is reclaimed, the resistance moves back into the castle. Here, they can more easily organize their troops. It can be assumed that the resistance has disbanded once the war with the Empire was over.
