Why (Song)
From Final Fantasy Wiki
"Why" is the theme song for Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII- performed by J-Pop star Ayaka, featured during the game's ending FMV. It is also rearranged as an instrumental piece called Why (CCFFVII Mix), which is played after Angeal Hewley's death in Modeoheim. The song has a country feel, alluding to Zack's "countryboy" origins.

[edit] English TranslationYour inner eye has clouded over so much that it's impossible for you to see Having the entire world at your fingertips, Why? Why do look up into the lonely heavens? What was it that came to be in your sequestered past? All alone with only the lonely night to cradle you, Why? Why are you so concerned with the way you look? It is those who are free that are stumbling... Why? Why do you look up at the lonely sky? Why... ? |
