Bravely Default - Curaga

Agnès casting Curaga, a White Magic spell.

White Magic (白魔法, Shiro Mahō?) is a skillset in Bravely Default. It can be used by the White Mage job or by equipping the White Magic job command. White Magic can also be performed with the Red Mage job and the B/W Magic job command, but can only use White Magic up to level 4.

Note that this spell has a 70% chance to cause death when used on undead enemies.

EtymologyEdit

White magic has traditionally referred to the use of supernatural powers or magic for good and selfless purposes. With respect to the philosophy of left-hand path and right-hand path, white magic is the benevolent counterpart of malicious black magic. Because of its ties to traditional pagan nature worship, white magic is often also referred to as "natural magic".
