Parry is an Augment-type Enemy ability. It raises Evade by 25, if Evade is not 0. Playable characters can not parry attacks by default. The only way for them to be able to parry is by equipping the Jade Collar accessory, which provides 30% parry to physical attack.
To counter the enemy parries, the player may opt to equip the Cameo Belt accessory. The accessory completely ignores the enemy's chance to block and parry attacks, making it especially useful against Judges.
Parry, originally called Weapon Guard, is a reaction ability in Final Fantasy Tactics. The Knight class learns it for 200 JP. It is one of the only two reaction abilities not affected by Bravery, Parry simply adds the equipped weapon's physical evade stat to the character's total.
