The Wasp is an enemy from Final Fantasy X. Even though you encounter the wasp in Macalania it is weak against Ice. When you fight against a wasp, it is best to either bring in Wakka or another party member with high Accuracy or else you will probably miss this fiend. As with all enemies from this particular family, its attack will cause Poison.
Wasps will drop weapons with any of the elemental strikes and armor with Poison Ward and/or MP +10%.
