Walse Tower

Walse Tower is a location in Final Fantasy V. It is visitable in Bartz's World, where it is located northwest of Walse, and in the Merged World where it is located underwater. It is the original location of the Water Crystal.

After the fall of the Walse Meteor, the party heads to the Walse Tower in order to protect the Water Crystal. However, a Garula controlled by Exdeath attacks the tower and its guards. Reaching the top, the party witnesses the destruction of the Water Crystal, and they gather all of its shards but one as the tower begins to sink. Saved by Syldra, the party reaches the shore near the Walse Meteor, where they bid farewell to Syldra once and for all.
After the merge of the worlds, the party may visit the sunken Walse tower by using a Submarine. However, as the tower is sunk in the ocean, the party can only stay on it for eight minutes, although there are two treasure chests with oxygen. In the top, lies the last crystal shard, but it is guarded by Famed Mimic Gogo.

The background music that plays inside the Walse Tower is Final Fantasy V's "Dungeon" theme, while "Beyond the Deep Blue Sea" plays during the party's visit to the sunken tower.
