Sat Sri Akal - One-Eye, Hornet and Vidatu, right? I think? Hmm, close, but wrong order. Part Two of Species Conquests in Final Fantasy X International Walkthrough Monster Arena Guide by Paramina.

Hornet[]

Conditions to Unlock: Capture at least four of each insect species
Hornet Details
Classification: Species Conquest
Cost 8,000 gil
Unlock Prize Mana Tonic x60

Killer Bee (Kilika) - Bite Bug (Djose) - Wasp (Macalania) - Nebiros (Calm Lands)

Hornet has a common drop of Accuracy Spheres. These are integral to defeating the Dark Aeons - especially the more agile ones, like Shiva - so make sure you farm these out to max your stats. His unlock prize of the Mana Tonics can Customize MP +30% onto your armor, but you shouldn't be needing that if you already have One MP Cost.

You may want to go into this battle with Poison-, Sleep-, Blind- and Silenceproof spread out on your armor, if possible. Don't worry if you can't, it's totally do-able without it.

Still boring equipment drops, though:

Weapons: 2-4 slots, Strength +5-20%
Armor: 2-4 slots, Defense +5-20%
Monster Arena Boss: Hornet
Hornet-ffx-enemy

HP: 620,000
AP: 10,000
Steal: Poison Fang, Purifying Salt
Difficulty: Easy/Medium

Worst picture yet, right?

Like the Pteryx, Medium purely because it's actually quite difficult to connect a hit, but other than that, it's very simple. You've got the usual stinger attacks you've come to expect giving you a plethora of lovely status effects, but since they're all single-target hits, they're super easy to clean up after, so don't worry too much about them. Just focus on trying to connect a hit - stack Jinx and Aim if you're really having trouble, and if it's just not working out, you'll probably need to go level a bit to get your Accuracy stat up a little higher.

Vidatu[]

Conditions to Unlock: Capture at least three of each floating wizard species
Vidatu Details
Classification: Species Conquest
Cost 8,000 gil
Unlock Prize Mana Spring x99

Gandarewa (Mushroom Rock) - Aerouge (Thunder Plains) - Imp (Gagazet or Sunken Cave)

He drops MP Spheres, which actually aren't that special once you've got One MP Cost on, so don't feel the need to farm these, unless you're looking to max-everything for the sake of completion (crazy).

You might want to keep your Double AP drops for a levelling trick later on, but other than that, sell on:

Weapons: 2-3 slots, Double AP
Armor: 2-3 slots, MP +10-30%
Monster Arena Boss: Vidatu
Vidatu

HP: 95,000
AP: 10,000
Steal: Lightning Gem, Mana Tonic
Difficulty: Easy

Vidatu is under a constant NulAll and Auto-Regen status, so don't bother hitting it with any elemental spells - you should be only using Ultima, Flare and Holy as offensive magic just now. Have Tidus dish out Hastega and then physicals alongside Auron. Make sure Yuna casts a round of Shell to take the blunt of his Ultima attack. This shouldn't last long because its HP is pretty low.

One-Eye[]

Conditions to Unlock: Capture at least four of each floating eye species
One-Eye Details
Classification: Species Conquest
Cost 8,000 gil
Unlock Prize Stamina Tablet x99

Floating Eye (Mi'ihen) - Buer (Thunder Plains) - Evil Eye (Macalania) - Ahriman (Gagazet or Sin) - Floating Death (Omega)

It is imperative you go into this with First Strike on someone's weapon. Seriously, One-Eye has a nasty opener that might just kill you off the bat. It is also imperative you have as many -Proof armors on as possible, with Confuse-, Berserk- and Silence- the top priority on your Mage (though Confuse- should be top priority on all of your team).

Triple AP is excellent for level grinding/the levelling trick (check this page), so make sure you keep those in your inventory:

Weapons: 2-3 slots, Triple AP
Armor: 2-3 slots, MP +10-30%
Monster Arena Boss: One-Eye
One-Eye

HP: 150,000
AP: 10,000
Steal: Lunar Curtain, Blessed Gem
Difficulty: Hard

If you haven't got First Strike equipped, One-Eye will open with Shockwave, inflicting a big hit of magic damage and a catalogue of status effects. If this doesn't kill you outright, the status effects will likely kill you, or it'll kill you on its next few turns as you desperately struggle to wipe your slate clean. That's why you need to come into this with First Strike and a plethora of -Proof armor, so it doesn't hit you nearly as bad. If you have time, try to dish out Shell on Yuna, either via the spell, or via the Use command (you'll need to use a Lunar Curtain), or Auto-Life to increase their chances of surviving Shockwave.

What's crucial is how you survive post-Shockwave. If Yuna has survived, immediately get to cleaning up the mess left behind, starting with revival - Full-Life is preferred, but just do it however you can. Then concentrate on wiping Berserk and Darkness, then the rest as you get through it. The rest of the battle isn't that challenging, because One-Eye has a pitiful Evasion stat that even Auron can hit on a casual saunter.
