Okay. FINALLY we're done with all that bushwhacking! Now, back to the REAL task at hand.

[edit] The Finback Sin

When you're ready, save your game on the Airship, and talk to Baked Jake. Tell him you want to go to Sin. Tidus will tell Baked Jake that they're gonna beat Yu Yevon. Jake says he likes it done in a simple way. Cid puts on an amplifier and everyone starts singing the Hymn of the Fayth, which they think'll calm Sin. It works, and Sin is calmed. Tidus then decides to blow up an entryway into Sin. Everyone agrees with him. Whoever put that assclown in charge needs a new lesson in how to do things. Brother then stops Tidus and tells him, in English "Rikku, you...guard." WHAT? Isn't Rikku SUPPOSED to be doing the guarding? First we have to watch out for that dumb damsel in distress, now we have to worry about Reeku, who smells bad? Anyway, Squeaku is so happy to find out that everyone got the message. Tidus then takes out the Sphere with Yuna's will on it and throws it overboard. Sin then cuts open a big crack in the earth. Meanwhile, Brother and Cid found a weak spot on its left fin. And you have to fight it!

I find that purple jewel interesting.
But I don't see it this time.

After fighting all those things in the Monster Arena, Sin's Left Fin is easy as hell. First off, know that you can Move in and pull back using Tidus and Rikku. Speaking of Rikku, have her, and only her, Steal. You'll get a rare Supreme Gem, and if Rikku with her Master Thief armor steals, you'll only get these! The common Steal is a Mega-Potion. Then, pull back and use ranged attacks, such as Wakka's physical or Black Magic. Its ultimate attack is Gravija, which it has to CHARGE UP to use! So it's weak as hell. Gravija only takes away 75% of your max HP, which is nothing compared to what the Monster Arena guys did. It also uses Negation, which casts Esuna and Dispel on EVERYONE, friend and foe alike. Hell, you can summon Anima and use Oblivion for the easy, one hit win. It drops an HP Sphere (2 for an Overkill), and its weapon drops randomly inflict Poison and Petrify, while its armor provides immunity to those stats.

After you beat it, Baked Jake will fire missiles at Sin, blowing off its left fin. Now, it's time to fight the Right Fin, which is the exact same enemy except its common Steal is an X-Potion and its rare Steal is a Shining Gem and that it drops a Level 3 Key Sphere. But beyond that, it's the same enemy, so look up to find the answers! After this fight, they'll fire missiles at this part of Sin, blowing the right fin off. This breaks the Airship's guns, so it's time to change plans! We're gonna face Sin head on at the core! So everyone jumps off the airship and onto Sin itself! Tidus will make a really assclownish comment and demand that he go first because he's a "star player." First of all, if I were the coach of the Zanarkand Abes, I wouldn't allow people with that attitude on my team. You'd get kicked off if you think of yourself before the team. Anyway, time for another fight!

It's ridin' Sin's back.

This time, you'll be fighting Sin's Core along with Sinspawn Genais. The Sinspawn uses Sigh, which Blinds the entire party, and Venom, which Poisons a character. It also uses Thrashing, which is an MT attack, Waterga, and it can heal itself with Cura. Sin itself uses weak Level 1s and the same skills as the fins. It shouldn't be a hard fight. Hell, since I gave all those Monster Arena strategies I don't even know why I should even GIVE a strategy here. They both have under 99,999 HP. You can Steal a common Star Curtain and a rare Shining Gem from the Sinspawn, and Stamina Springs from the core. The common Steal is 3 and the rare Steal is 4. Use whatever to kill it. Hell, with your stats you might not even see an attack from it. Anyway, the Sinspawn will drop 2 Return Spheres, and the Core will drop 2 MP Spheres when they die. You'll get weapons that inflict Zombie and Slow, and armor that provides immunity to these statuses.

[edit] The final approach

Sin will fall out of the sky and crash into the ocean outside Bevelle. Baked Jake and Brother will jump for joy, but Rikku will say that Sin's gonna come back. Tidus reminds everyone that they have to beat Yu Yevon inside Sin. Lulu is sure it weakened. Yuna is scared because she wonders if the Fayth will REALLY help her. She says that if she summons, Yu Yevon will join with the Aeon. Tidus then says the have to kill it while it's still weak. Yuna will wonder what happens if Yu Yevon "jumps." What does that mean? I have no idea. But they decide they have to put Yu Yevon in a corner so he can't run and then slaughter him brutally. Yuna wonders what Yu Yevon is summoning, and Tidus mentions that it's the Dream of the Fayth. Yuna then gets worried that Tidus will disappear. I'd want them both to disappear.

Rikku suddenly gets on the intercom and says that Sin is transforming into something. You have to go on the deck. Tidus tells Baked Jake to get close to Sin so Tidus and his pals can get inside. Now, save your game, and go up on the deck. It's time for another boss. This time it's Overdrive Sin!

Sin 2.0

You have like 10 or so turns to take off Sin's 140,000 HP. This isn't a problem with your stats. The first few turns, Sin will use "Drawn to Sin!" which just pulls you in closer. After that, Sin starts using various status abilities on you. It can Zombie, Confuse, or Petrify you. Still, the fight is pretty easy with your stats. Wakka could probably kill Sin in two hits. If you don't kill Sin quickly enough, it'll use its own Overdrive: Giga-Graviton, which will instantly kill you no matter what. If you kill it quickly enough, it'll open up and let you inside.

[edit] Livin' in Sin

You're inside Sin now. Tidus will call out to Jecht, but Auron says they have to go to him. Don't worry though, there are Save Points and you can return to the airship whenever you want. Now, this place is like the Omega Ruins in that you'll have to reveal the map. So once again, I have to give you directions. But FIRST...there are several new enemies you can fight. And yes, you have to capture 10 of them, so Wakka and Auron need to take off their ultimate weapons and put on their monster-catching stuff. Here are the new enemies.

Exorays are pretty common, and they look awesome. They can put you to Sleep, and can also Blind and Poison you, though, with their Pollen attack, so watch out. You can Steal 3 common Silence Grenades and a rare Ether. Just have Wakka catch it in one hit. It only has 7,000 something HP. Its weapon drops randomly inflict Sleep, and its armor drops provide Sleep resistance. Not much.

There are two enemies called Gemini here: one holds a sword and the other holds a club. They have the same HP, same attacks, same stats, the only difference is in what you can Bribe from them, so we're not gonna get into that. Nevertheless, they count as two separate enemies, so you'll have to catch 10 of each. Anyway, their common Steal is a Light Curtain and their rare Steal is 2 of them. With stats like you have now, you shouldn't even need to use Armor Break, but if you do, make sure it's Wakka doing it, because you want to catch them. They drop weapons that increase your Strength or Magic Power, and armor that increases your HP.

The last new enemy is the Behemoth King. It's tough and has a lot of HP and some nasty counterattacks, but it's still definitely manageable with the kind of stats you have. It uses skills like Heave and Tail, which affects all enemies, can put up Mighty Guard, and it also loves to use lightning elemental spells and Flare. Definitely try to Steal from it. Its common Steal is a Healing Spring and its rare Steal is two nice Twin Stars. It may take awhile to bring down, especially if it puts up Mighty Guard, in which case you'll have to Dispel it. It has 67,000+ HP, too, and remember that you have to capture 10 of these. Be careful when it dies, though, because it uses Meteor every time, which is VERY POWERFUL in this game. Its weapon drops have SOS Overdrive and can inflict Zombie, and its armor drops provide abilities that put stats on you when your HP gets low.

Okay, now we have to explore this place. Follow the linear path. Make a left at the first possible place. Head straight north. Eventually, the path will curve to the left. When you come to a fork in the road, make a right. Then, make a left and another left. Go all the way down and you'll come to two chests: one has a Phantom Ring for Yuna, which provides her with some elemental absorption, and the other has a Special Sphere. Now, go all the way back up. Go straight at the first fork, and a left at the second. This leads to a dead end with a chest with an Elixir inside. Now, keep going along this path. The path will turn right twice, and then you'll see a fork. Go straight at the fork to find a chest with a Wizard's Lance for Kimahri, which is useless. Go back to the fork and make a right. You'll find a chest with a Level 3 Key Sphere. Keep going and you'll reach a Save Point. Now go up the stairs to find a familiar face.

It's Seymour! Somehow, Seymoron found a way to get inside Sin. He'll say he's now absorbing Sin's energy so he can become a God himself. But not so fast! It's time for you to fight him in his true and final form: Seymour Omnis!

Seymour in his true and final form.

This version of Seymour is much easier than the previous ones, especially because of your uber stats. If you have any elemental absorption armor, equip that. Seymour Ominis is accompanied by four rotating discs called Mortiphasms. Seymour will attack you with four level three spells that are related to the color of the light touching Seymour on each disks. If all four lights are the same, the spells are stronger, but that also means Seymour is horribly weak to the element's opposite. Armor Break Seymour, and definitely have Rikku, and only Rikku, Steal. The common Steal is a Shining Gem, but the rare Steal is a nice Supreme Gem. You want these, so Rikku with Master Thief is the way to go here. Anyway, he only has 80,000 HP, so at your stats the fight should be very short. Seymour drops Level 3 Key Spheres, weapons that increase your Magic Power, and armor with Near Fatal abilities.

After the fight, Yuna will FINALLY send Seymour, and you'll get to move on. Go back and save your game.

[edit] What the hell is this place?

Go through the door behind where Seymour was and you'll now be in like a fort type place. The music in here is very scary, and I get freaked out by it. There's one new enemy here, and it's the last enemy you have to capture 10 of. It's called Barbados Slim (not its real name, but I always like to give enemies names like this in the final dungeon. Remember I called the Steroidite Barry Bonds?), and it has a kickass graphic, high defenses, and powerful attacks. If you remeber the Vorban, this guy is basically a weaker version of it. It still has 95,000 HP though, and its Body Slash hits everyone, and its Mortar does random damage. You can Steal a common Star Curtain and a rare Blessed Gem, so have Rikku Steal from it a lot so you make sure you get the Blessed Gems. When it dies, it has nothing in terms of weapon drops but its armor drops increase your HP by 20%.

Anyway, the path is linear until you come to a Glyph on the wall. Touch it, and you'll have to defeat ten enemies to open the door. Then, you'll have to defeat another ten enemies to open the next door. Then, you'll have to defeat 15 enemies to open the last door. Inside all this is a Level 4 Key Sphere. Now, move on. You'll come to an elevator. Use it to go up to a chest with a useless Four-on-one for Wakka, which has all four elemental attacks. Still useless. Now, go back down the elevator and keep moving forward. You'll find a pushable wall which leads to a Defending Bracer for Auron. Head northwest and move around the pit to find another Glyph. Touch it to find a chest with a Megalixir. Now, go back east and down into the pit. There's a chest here with 20,000 Gil and an elevator leading to an HP Sphere. Go along this path to find a chest with a Defense Sphere. Go down the elevator here. Go all the way around north of the pit until you come to a secret slide. Go down and you'll come to a chest with a useless Laevatein Rod for Yuna. Anyway, from here, go up the ramp by pressing X on the way up and you'll reach the game's last Save Point. You can return to the Airship from here or go north into the Point of No Return. I suggest now returning to the Monster Arena, because we just unlocked another 5 enemies there, so I'm gonna go ahead and do that for the next part. Go onto Part 34 if you want to head straight to the Final Battle.
