[edit] Introduction

Yo dudes and dudettes my name is Ridd (well it is not really) and this is the first walkthrough I have ever made for a site (I hope you like it). I plan to make walkthrough's for every single main series Final Fantasy game seens as I own and have completed them all. But of course you should always start with the best, which is why instead of making them in order I am making my guides in order from best (FF7) to worst (???). Now don't get me wrong I know thar Final Fantasy VII is the best game ever but I do treat it like a holy bible sent from God that will expose all the heretics that haven't completed it. So don't expect me to be bum-licking it too much in this walkthrough.

[edit] Using this Walkthrough

The main thing you are going to have to put up with in this walkthrough is me. Firstly, I like to use brackets (a lot(a little too much(sometimes I even put brackets inside brackets))). Secondly, I will try not to but I will probably end up swearing in this walkthrough so I reccomend you are either of a mature age or you are someone who just doesn't give a fuck.

[edit] Basic Controls

Oddly in this game cross is cancel and select is circle but you can easily change this in the "Config" menu (more on this later). To move on the field or select a command in battle use the D-pad (this game does not support use of the analouge stick for movement). Triangle (or pushing up on the right stick) is used to access the "MENU" where you can change your party, equip their weaponary, change the settings ect. Square appears to not be used in this game unless especially specified in a mini-game. And strangly enough the pause button is used to pause the game.

[edit] Thing You Will Need to Play

  • Either a Playstation, a PS1, a PS2, a PS2 Slimline, or if you are really fancy either a 20gb or a 60gb PS3 (40gb's aren't backwards compatable)
  • A T.V. preferrably colour
  • A copy of Final Fantasy VIIfor PS1 (good smurfing luck getting one without selling your right bollock)
  • A lot of time and effort (but it is fun and it is worth it (stick with it))
