Birthday workout, boom. Okay, more like "some squats, deadlifts, dumbbell fly lifts and plank variations" but I feel much better. I was worried all the writing was making me merge with my recliner.

Zidane wakes up in the guest room. Guess what we're going to do next.
Lindblum Castle: Guest Room[]
- Raid the chest for an Egoist's Armlet.
Talk to Mogki -- read one of the letters and he'll give you a letter for Moodon.
- Check the chest to the south for an Elixir.
Ride to the upper level and talk to Cid. Watch the scene. It turns out Kuja wasn't quite as killed as Garland (and we) had thought. Also, the shock of losing both her mother and her kingdom has rendered Garnet mute -- all she can do is think, and speak in ellipses. No amount of Echo Screens are going to fix this one.
Meanwhile, Cid's coming up with a way to make him human again. We need an Unusual Potion, a Beautiful Potion and a Strange Potion.
First of all, head to the Theatre District. There's a scene with the Burmecian family that you saved a while back, and a cutscene with Freya. Now enter the house on the right.

- Grab the Lapis Lazuli from the chest.
- Talk to the artist, then check the left corner for the Strange Potion.
Head downstairs.

- Cinna gives you the Unusual Potion after a scene.
Go back down and enter the Tantalus Hideout.
Lindblum: Hideout[]
- Rob the chests again to find 1,273 Gil, 4,826 Gil and 970 Gil.
Fly over the to Business District and cross over to the inn. Head upstairs and give Moodon the letter. Now leave the inn and go north to the shopping area.

- Check the left path to find the Stellazzio coin Sagittarius.
- Head back to the house in the middle and raid the chests for an Elixir and a Remedy.
Head to the square and talk to Alice (the woman in white) to receive the Beautiful Potion. Do whatever shopping you need to (Vivi finally has a new weapon available). Now head back to Lindblum Castle, and to the throne room to speak with Cid. Aaaaand now he's a frog.
Well, that worked.
Head down to the Base Level and ride to the Serpent's Gate. Head north from the drop-off point and claim the Chimera Armlet.
Head south to the port. For the record, the guy in yellow is Engineer Zebolt, whose name would totally fit this Pokémon better than its actual name.
Anyhoo, we now have access to the Blue Narciss. Quina finally catches up with us and freaks out over Cid being turned into a frog. He wants to eat him so bad...
Now that you have the ship, you can access areas required for the Chocobo Hot and Cold sidequest, specifically Chocobo's Lagoon. If you're participating in that sidequest, now is the time to complete as much of it as possible. I strongly recommend that you do, as you gain a phenomenal number of excellent items and equipment that will make your life so much easier.
