Soul of Rebirth begins with the awake of Minwu in a place reassembling Jade Passage. He questions his state and then walks inside the cavern, where he finds a man who looks like Prince Gordon being ambushed by Imperial Soldiers. Minwu rushes to help him.

Black Knight + Sergeant x2 HP(Black Knight)- 1140 MP (Overall)- 0 Difficulty- Easy Strategy- This is the new dungeon's first battle, and as you only have two characters, it's supposed to be easy. Kill the Sergeants first, as the Black Knight's stats have been drastically decreased. Have Minwu to cast Blink and Protect to reduce the damage dealt and have Scott attack or casting his spells. If you got a Mage Staff for Minwu on the Arcane Labyrinth, this and other battles are as good as won. I also hope that Minwu is equipped with Mythril, as he is a crucial character, not only on this battle but on this dungeon as well.

After defeating the soldiers, Prince Gordon joins Minwu. Time for the last character's table:

Scott is the Prince of Kashuan and Hilda's love. If you remember, he died on the pub at Fynn. If you don't remember, it's fine, I've just reminded you. He wields swords by default and his job is Red Mage, due to the spells he knows, and I let him stay by that. Holy and Flare are the only spells that I add to his arsenal.

Scott and Minwu realize that they are both dead, and in the afterlife, but the strange scenery makes Minwu wonder if they are in Jade, the passageway to Hell. You must be careful in here, as the foes are quite strong for your level. Save before starting and continuously save throughout the dungeon to ensure your position. This dungeon is equal to Jade, but it was inverted. What once was right, is now left and vice-versa.

Start the dungeon by grabbing the chest to the east with an Elixir. Then, go north, and before you reach the entrance, start heading west. When you reach the way's end, go south to find a small alley with a chest containing an Ether. Now go back east and south. Turn west when you reach the south wall and enter the door you find. Descend the stairway.

On B2 start by going north. Minwu and Scott will find Josef and Borghen fighting each other and you will join the fight.

Zombie Borghen HP- 2500 MP- 370 Difficulty- Easy Strategy- Good news and bad news. Bad news first: you'll have to face this pushover again. Good news: he still remains easy and you have Josef to help! Have Minwu to cast his support spells and Scott and Josef to attack. Borghen can stun your characters with his attack though, but that isn't much of a problem as two of your characters can cast cure. After a while, Borghen will die. Again.

After killing Borghen, Josef will join your party. Again. Grab the Thief's Gloves to the north and go back and head west, following the water's flow. Grab the Hellfire inside a chest west of the path and head southeast to find a chest with an Ancient Sword. Go west and turn north then go along the corridor on the west wall and go north until you find a door. Enter it to find the staircase leading to B3.

B3 is the famous waterfall room. Soul of Rebirth also has the secret merchant beneath it so climb down the stairways and cross the waterfall as soon as you can. Then climb the big staircase and go down through the other one. Don't forget to get the chest, as it holds a Silver Cuirass. Cross the waterfall again and descend the stairs close to the eastern wall. The merchant under the waterfall sells Berserk, Haste, Holy and Flare scrolls, but I doubt you can afford them. Buy a Berserk Tome for Josef if you can buy it, or better, a Holy Tome for Minwu. When you're ready, go west and enter the westernmost door to find the stairs to B4.

B4 is an open area. Go north to find an Hi-Potion and then go north again, and enter a door located to the west of you. Inside you'll find a Golden Shield, some Eye Drops and a Demon Spear. Leave the room and head west to find another chest, this time with an Aura Tome. Keep it. Go south and enter through the door to reach B5. B5 is the same floor as Jade was - You only have to follow the path. This time though, there is a new event here. A roundworm lies in the path, and if you talk to it, a Dragoon will show up and tell you that the worm is his foe.

Roundworm HP- 2000 MP- 0 Difficulty- Easy Strategy- This fight should be easy with Richard by your side. I hope that you leveled him well, as he will be your party's main damage dealer for now. This battle shouldn't take a turn.

After Ricard informs the party of what is going on on the world of the living and joins it, you should carry on your way. Continue following the path and grab the Protect Ring near the door. There is also an Hi-Potion a bit ahead. After a while, you will reach a door. Enter it to find the stairs to B6, which is exactly the same as Jade's last floor, but symmetric. After a while you will reach a teleporter, and where it leads, no one knows...
