So continues our journey from here to there -- Rocking Chair
Whisperwind Cove
Edit
If you were reading the previous page then you would know that we are still trapped in this God forsaken place Whisperwind Cove. By the end of the page we should be finished so never fear.
Light Brown Cavern ? =
Edit
There is nothing really to say about this place. First head to the Eastern wall and there should be some treasure over there. Then head around the NorthWest corner until you find the stairs. First go West of the stairs to grab some treasure. There is some more South and East of the Exit that you should consider grabbing before your out of here.
Sky Castle 1
Edit
Yes we somehow managed to get back up the air. Don't ask why I swear this whole Soul of Chaos dungeon was written by Syd Barret. There are two treasure rooms on this floor at the North-East and North-West points. Once you grab everything the exit should be around the West.
Sky Castle 2
Edit
On this floor there is a treasure room to the North-East of this floor that can hold up to three treasure chests. If you walk around the South-Western part of the room you may also find the other treasure room. The exit is found south of the first treasure room.
Sky Castle 3
Edit
Another nice easy room. This one is pretty small so you shouldn't really have to much of a problem. There is treasure in the Northern and the Southern treasure rooms. In the South-Eastern corner there should be the final treasure chest. In the Southern room you can find a Warp pad that will transport you to the next room.
Sky Castle 4
Edit
This is an interesting little change of things. You can turn up on any part of this floor. Hopefully it will be right next to the warp panel. There are also three treasure rooms on this floor in the center of the room. and at the Northwest and Southwest corners. Once you have collected all your treasure Once done you can go North-East and find a long Bridge with the exit at the end of it.
First Town
Edit
If you come across this as the first floor of the entire dungeon or even in the first 1-15 floors then it might be a good idea to restart. This is a whole town set up with NPC's that sell magic ,weapons and armor which you probably don't need. The best thing about this place is that it also happens to come with an Inn so revive any fallen members and rest up. There are two chests at the North-East corner, one in the North-west and one in the South-East corner. The final one can be found up north along the wall. To leave just enter one of the doors.
Second Town
Edit
Another random town that will help us along the way. This one also has no enemies so rest up at the Inn and buy some of the items for sale here. Once done you can leave through The South-East stairs. You won't find any treasure here at all.
Hellfire Chasm 1
Edit
I suggest we ignore the treasure in this one cause of all the Lava lying around. However if you haven't past both towns yet then don't really worry about it. There is a treasure chest around the center of the room and there is two towards the East one along the outer wall and one in a bit. The final chest is in the North-West corner and the South-East corner contains the exit.
Hellfire Chasm 2
Edit
A little less treasure to hunt for in this room however the whole floor is covered in Lava instead of it being a bit scattered. I suggest a quick hurry to the South-East corner to grab some treasure and then find the exit along the North Wall.
Weird Orange Land
Edit
This place is pretty big. Don't expect to get out of here with all the treasure without sustaining any damage. There is some treasure Northwest of the desert and further in the North-West corner of the room. Move down to the South-East of the world and grab the next treasure chest. The stairs are along the south wall of the world and if you walk there from the West you should find another Treasure Chest.
Rotting Kingdom
Edit
This room has a whole heap of NPC's that you can kill. I'm sure you like me have been waiting for this moment all of your life. Savor every moment and kill off everyone in this room if you want. There are ten treasure chests around the room as so
- To the West of where you entered
- To the East of where you entered
- In the SouthWest Corner
- In the SouthEast corner
- NorthWest Corner
- Northwest Corner
- Northwest Corner
- Northwest corner
- Kill the Queen Behind her is the treasure
- Kill the King behind him is the treasure
Fairy Floor
Edit
This is a bit of a gamble for people who are struggling to make it to the end of this cave. Some of these fairies will heal you and restore your HP but if you talk to the wrong fairy then you will lose you HP and maybe even your MP. You may even save when you arrive here and restart once you remember which ones heal you and which ones don't. There is treasure to the North-East and South of this floor and if you talk to the fairy to the East of the lake she will make the stairs appear.
Child's Play
Edit
This floor is more annoying then anything. Talk to the kid who is apparently missing his friend. Just walk around the place until you find the little fella.
Fixing Robots
Edit
Another sort of strange floor. You will see two robots who need to be repaired. Just walk around the room looking for the right parts to fix the robot. If your having trouble check everywhere including inside the houses. Don't forget to pick up the treasure while you're at it.
Zelda Style Trading
Edit
Here is something that us Zelda players would be used to. Here we trade our way through this floor to get to the Next one. I will list the Step by step guide just for you.
- Step 1: One of the Dwarves is willing to give you a Carobo
- Step 2: Find the little fella that is hungry and he will give you an instrument for the Carobo.
- Step 3: One of the guys will give you a Cogwheel because he wants to play music.
- Step 4: Some guy in here will need that cogwheel for the Pickaxe of Time
- Step 5: Trade the Pickaxe for an autograph
- Step 6: Trade the autograph for a Witch's brew
- Step 7: Trade the Witch's brew for the Smyth's tools
- Step 8: Trade the Smyth's tools for the House Key
- Step 9: Trade the House Key for the Cat's Whiskers
- Step 10: Trade the Cat;s Whiskers for the Ruby of Time
- Step 11: Feed the Ruby to the Giant to get access to the stairs.
Mini Game
Edit
Yes we have come across a minigame now. Simply count the beavers and tell them where to go and do whatever you have to do. Type in the correct number to the dwarf and he will let you through. Before you go though there is some treasure in the Southern corners.
Rubber Souless
Edit
There are a whole heap of little souls here that you must comfort and reassure so that you can progress to the next floor. One of these is Astos who has returned and will attack you. A few of them will attack you just go one by one until you have comforted them all then we can move on to the next floor. There is treasure in the South-East corner and a little North of the Dwarf.
Floor 10 Boss
Edit
The first of our little boss line-up is Typhoon.
| Easy | Boss Battle: Typhon |
|
HP: 10,000 Weakness: Ice
| |
Floor 20 Boss
Edit
The second Boss that we must face can be considered the worst in the Soul of Chaos however don't slack off or you may end up losing still.
| Easy | Boss Battle: Ultros |
|
HP: 17,000 Weakness: Fire, Lightning
| |
Floor 30 Boss
Edit
We only have 2 more bosses to go and we ared out of here. i hate this place so much that it isn't funny.
| Easy | Boss Battle: Phantom Train |
|
HP: 9,999 Weakness: Fire, Dia
| |
Floor 40 Boss
Edit
We finally get the the last Boss of this cave and he isn't by any means muh stronger then the first three.
| Hard | Boss Battle: Deathgaze |
|
HP: 30,000 Weakness: Fire, Dia
The first thing you want to do is cast "Protera" then use "Healega" whenever necessary or heal with "Curaga-ja". On the offensive side of things, use "Holy", "Flare" and physical attacks. If you manage to run out of MP before you finish the battle then use a Dry Either. Otherwise just hang in there and battle it out to win. | |
We have finally completed the Whisperwind Cove. You can now come out of wherever you were playing your Game Boy, be it your room, the family car or even the bathroom and celebrate with friends and family. You have indeed done well but there is still one more Soul of Chaos left so prepare for pure terror...
