Sunken Shrine[]
This is one of those rare dungeon/caves where there is a Boss that is slightly adequate and may actually kill you if you aren't careful. But still you can use a bit of your strong magic if you ever actually get in trouble. Your strongest spell is probably "Thundaga" which is very effective against all of the Monsters here.
Second Floor
We automatically start on the Second floor of this Sunken Shrine and our aim is to work our way up and see the mermaids first. The first set of stairs should be straight up the North-East a little.
Third Floor
When you enter the third floor, Start off by heading south and ignore the first room with nothing in it. If you keep going south you will see a broken path so now go West and continue along until you can't go any further West. Go South, a little to the left then South again to find a room with a Light Axe. If you head North again keeping to the hugging the left border of the screen you will eventually find some nice Diamond Armour in the North-Western corner of this floor. From here go down a little and head towards the East then continue down to the bottom of the floor and into the room with a Mage's Staff.
From here we just go down and follow the path East again and finish at a room and some stairs. In the room you will find 12350gil. Merrily dance to the stairs.

Fourth Floor
Alright now this floor has a shitload of treasure and no monsters. It will be too difficult to wind you around this room so instead I will make a checklist of treasure that i can find in this room and you can (Mentally) tick off what you find.

The Rosetta Stone is the important one here. Its a key item that we will need later if we wish to access the Mirage Tower and find the fourth Crystal. Once you have that we need to wind our way back down to the Second floor where we first entered the Sunken Shrine. If you want you can pay Onrac a quick visit and rest at the Inn there if you want. Otherwise its time to find the Water crystal!
Sunkern Shrine (Take 2)[]
Second Floor
So here we are again on the second floor of this so called Sunken Shrine. Now instead of going up the stairs we did last time we need to find the ones that go down a floor. These can be located at the North-Western part of the room.
First Floor
When you enter this room follow the path up north and you will pass 6 pillars (3 on each side). Now go to your right and then up too the stairs.
Second Floor
We managed to get back too the second floor again. The stairs are right next too you so its impossible to screw this up unless you go back down the wrong stairs and your back on the first floor again in which you can go back too the second floor and up the right set of stairs.
Third Floor
From here just go right and down too get to the stairs.
Second Floor (Again)
Walk inside the room and pick up 110gil and 450gil. You can exit this room to the south and on your left is the stairs.
First Floor As per usual Rocking Chair himself is fooled by the floors going backwards again. We seem to be going over the same floors over and over again. This one is a bit harder at least. Go West too the center of the room and North to a room full of Treasure Chests containing 2750gil, 9900gil, a ribbon and 7340gil. Exit the room and go a touch to the left and follow the path North then West to the stairs.
Ground Floor
Run straight North until you reach a door and enter the room. Head West too another door that will get you out of this room and go down a little a take the West path that will take you left then down. There is a big room that you can enter down here that is almost like a maze. There is a door too the West though that shouldn't be too hard to find. Follow the path from here and stop by a much smaller room that is the crystal room. Heal up because there is a slightly harder Boss then usual in here.

HP: 1,800 Weakness: Lightning Set Up "NulAll" or if you don't have that then "NulFrost" will do just fine and then try to get "Protera" to protect yourself from the ever present danger that is physical attacks. Your Black Mage should be casting "Thundaga" every turn and your Ninja, Master or Knight whichever you have should just keep on attacking. Kraken really doesn't have much that can hurt you. Ink will possibly Blind your whole party which will effect your fighters attacks if they are effected by it. "Blizzaga" should be weakened by "NullFrost" and his Physical attacks will hurt unless you use "Protera". Your main attack will be "Thundaga" and after about 5 or 6 of them the not very mighty Kraken will fall. The 3rd Crystal is all yours! | |
Once you are done here just step into the Blue Light and Teleport out of here.
Back in Onrac[]
Now we have landed just outside of Onra so enter the town and get some rest at the Inn. If you have only just learned how to use level 7 spells then you can pick up some of the Magic here and add it too your arsenal. Otherwise there isn't really much else to do here so jump back into your airship and hit the skies again...
