Walkthrough:Final Fantasy/BlueHighwind/Part 16
From Final Fantasy Wiki
Good welcomes, Space Monkies. Did you have a nice flight? I know you, and you know me, BlueHighwind. I've been told that my penis tastes exactly like bakery fresh cinammon rolls. All females are welcome to have a taste, just not the fat chicks.
[edit] Whisperwind Cove (Continued)
This damn cave is so fucking long that it actually takes two whole pages to contain, just like my ego. Well the list of floors continues, still in no order:
[edit] Flying Fortress 1
How the hell did we get all the way up here? We've done nothing but go down this whole dungeon and now we're in the Flying Fortress again, what the fuck is going on!? I'm losing my mind here. This level is nice and linear complete with a few Treasure Rooms. Plus its small, that's always good. The warp exit is Southeast of the lower Room.
Treasure Locations:
- 1.2. Southern Treasure Room
- 3.4. Northern Treasure Room
- 5. At the Southeastern corner there is pathway leading to this Chest
[edit] Flying Fortress 2
There are two Treasure Rooms in the tips of the Western Area. This one can be a bit confusing but still just head West and you'll find the exit next to the Southwestern Treasure Room.
Treasure Locations:
- 1. Northwestern Treasure Room
- 2. Southwestern Treasure Room
[edit] Flying Fortress 3
Again a nice simple floor. Most of the Treasure is in the Room in the Northeastern area. The exit is directly South of that location.
Treasure Locations:
- 1.2.3. Northeastern Treasure Room
- 4. In the Southern section there is a Treasure Room towards the West
[edit] Flying Fortress 4
You can spawn anywhere on this floor and the lucky ones will find themselves right next to the warp. The exit is in the Northeastern corner after traveling over a long skybridge.
Treasure Locations:
- 1. Treasure Room in the Northwest corner
- 2. Treasure Room in the very center of the floor
- 3. Treasure Room in the Southwestern corner
[edit] Cavern of Ice 1
Oh man, this cave never fucking ends. I'm getting burned out just by all this typing. Luckily a series of ice rooms should cool me off. This floor is covered in Ice Spikes that hurt when you walk over them. The majority of the Treasure here is in the Northernwestern Treasure Room. The exit is in the Southeast corner.
Treasure Locations:
- 1.2.3.4.5. Northwestern Treasure Room - don't miss this room
- 5. Along the Southwestern wall there is a long Treasure Room which holds the final chest
[edit] Cavern of Ice 2
The paths of this floor kind of loop around in big circle. The exit is in the Western area but not the extreme West. There are two Treasure Rooms here that both hold two chests.
Treasure Locations:
- 1.2. Southeastern Treasure Room
- 3.4. Southwestern Treasure Room
[edit] Cavern of Ice 3
Now is the winter of our discontent made glorious summer by this son of York. Will the fucking ice floors ever stop? This particular room is a giant spiral of walls, that should help you distinguish it from all the other froze box rooms. The Southeastern Treasure Room hold two chests. The exit is in the North.
Treasure Locations:
- 1.2. The Southeastern Treasure Room
[edit] Cavern of Ice 4
This one actually is a giant ice cube tray. Its covered in a grid pattern. That should definitely help you in navigating through here. The exit is along the Western Wall.
Treasure Locations:
- 1. Southwest corner
- 2. Middle of the South wall
- 3. Northwest corner)
- 4. Around the Northwest corner
[edit] Cavern of Ice 5
Goddamn it! I am sick and tired of these motherfucking ice levels in this motherfucking dungeon!! This level has plenty of patched of little ice crystals is a tad confusing. The exit can be found by moving up to the Northwest corner and heading South to the Southwest corner.
Treasure Locations:
- 1. The Northern corner holds a Treasure room with a single Chest
- 2. South of #1
- 3. Northwest corner
[edit] Cavern of Ice 6
This floor is filled with lots of massive rooms. Luckily all the chests are located in the Southern Treasure Room that makes looting very easy. Go through the Northern Room and you'll find the staircase.
Treasure Locations:
- 1.2.3. The big Southern Treasure Room.
[edit] Cavern of the Earth
I am fairly certain this is the same place as the floor in which you fought the Vampire in the Cavern of the Earth. Go around in a big counter-clockwise circle and enter the boss chamber that now doesn't hold a boss. To your right there should be the exit.
Treasure Locations:
- 1. The Northwest section of this floor holds a Treasure Room
- 2. Along the way to the middle room
- 3.4.5. The empty Boss Chamber
[edit] Lava Land 1
This room is big and confusing with the Chests scattered all about. There is a bunch of lava scattered everywhere so if you go on a Treasure hunt you will take significant damage. The exit is in the Southeast corner.
Treasure Locations:
- 1. Northwest corner
- 2. Eastern wall of the area
- 3. Towards the center of the room there is a little in cropping into the rock
- 4. The Eastern edge of the inner wall towards the center
[edit] Lava Land 2
The big difference between the pits of lava is that this one is completely covered in lava, while the one above just has a lot of lava pits. There are two chests in the Southeast corner, so Treasure hunting is pretty simple. The exit is along the North wall.
Treasure Locations:
- 1.2. Southeast corner
[edit] Orange World
I hate this floating continent. Why because I am Blue, and what is the opposite of Blue? Yup orange. This area is a freaky floating orange continent, somehow fitting underground. God this whole fucking dungeon doesn't make any sense! The exit is at the South end of this world, but it will take you awhile to make it there.
Treasure Locations:
- 1. Northwest of the desert North of the starting point
- 2. On a peninsula branching out of the path leading South
- 3. Northwest corner of the world
- 4. Southwest corner of the world
- 5. West of the exit
[edit] Flooded Fortress
This floor is special in that it has ten whole chests no matter when you come to it. Awesome! However this floor is also extremely fucked-up. This entire castle is filled with the once prospering people of a great empire but now they have been turned into zombies. Some will even beg you to kill them. You which means, NPC killing!! Horray!! I've been wanting to kill those damn soulless waste of pixels ever since Cornelia. In fact you can even kill the King and Queen. I order you to kill everybody here, you'll never get another chance at this.
Treasure Location:
- 1. West of the starting point
- 2. East of the starting point
- 3. Southeast corner
- 4. Southwest corner
- 5.6. Northwest corner guarded by a zombie soldier begging to die
- 7. Kill the Queen the chest will be right behind her corpse
- 8.9. Northwest corner guarded by an undead soldier
- 10. Kill the King (save him for last) and the chest will right behind his dead corpse
[edit] Dwarf Trading Game
If you've played any Zelda game you should know the drill here. There's a Rock Monster that is blocking your path South so first we're going to have to help out the Dwarfs with all their little problems in a long series of trades. First find the Dwarf that is willing to give up a Carobo, and give that item to the hungry guy. Next take the Ocarina of Time and hand it over to the guy who wants to play music and travel into the dystopian future. Take the Cogwheel and give it to the dude who needs it for a Pickaxe of Time. Trade that for an Autograph, then that for a Witch's brew, and that for a Symth's Tools. Now get the House Key, trade it in for Cat's Whiskers, and that will net you a Ruby of Time. With that item you can feed the Rock monster who will finally let you pass. Wow, that was complex.
Treasure Locations:
- 1. Southwestern room
- 2. Southern most room in the center
[edit] Beaver Counting Game
Holy shit! A mini-game in Final Fantasy I, what's the world coming to? This floor is covered in a mass of Beavers, of all things. There's a Dwarf that's blocking the exit and he wants you to put X numbers of Beavers in each of the two rooms. Talk to the Beavers and tell them where to go and when you've gotten the correct number the Dwarf will get out of your way.
Treasure Locations:
- 1. Southwester corner
- 2. Southeaster corner
[edit] Lost Souls
In this floor there are a ton of little dancing purple flames. Each of these is a lost soul that you must comfort so that they return to the Planet or whatever Final Fantasy souls do. Some are pretty pissed about being dead and will attack you. One of them actually is Astos, the Dark Elf that we killed a long time ago. Kill him again. After all the souls are sent we can move onto the next area.
Treasure Locations:
- 1. A bit North of the Dwarf
- 2. Southeast corner
[edit] Robo Repairs
In this crumbling dusty town there are two robot lovers. One is malfunctioning (what robots aren't broken in this game?) so you have to search the entire town to find the two missing parts. The parts are scattered all around town but only two are the ones you need. Be sure to check in the houses as well. Once you have the two, fix the robot and the exit will be revealed.
Treasure Locations:
- 1. Below the river East of the robots
- 2. Southeast corner
- 3. Northwest of the droids
- 4. Southwest corner
- 5. East of #4.
- 6. Northwest corner
[edit] Hide and Seek
Here you'll find yourself in a house. Talk to the kid who wants to find his friend who has peculiar colored hair. Just keep on entering and leaving each of the doors until you find the damn kid.
Treasure Locations:
- N/A
[edit] Fairy Town
There are a lot of Fairies floating around, but you don't want to talk to them. Most will restore your HP, but others will lower it down to 1 or even worse remove all your MP. So the risk is much greater than the benefits. If you want out of here go talk to the Fairy East of the lake to make the exit appear.
Treasure Locatione:
- 1. At the South end of the villiage in the flowerbeds
- 2. The Northeast corner of the villiage
[edit] Town 1
This is the best thing that you can hope for in this whole dungeon. The town shares more than a passing resemblance to our favorite Pirate infested burg. There are no enemies here, instead all there is a bunch of friendly Mages who sell you armor, weapons and even some spells. In the Southeast corner is an Inn that you can use for some much needed rest. You can leave by entering one of the doors.
Treasure Locations:
- 1. The Northeast corner
- 2. South of the little pond in the Northeast corner
- 3. The Northwest corner
- 4. The Southeast corner
- 5. In the Northern wall there is a chest lodged in a dead end
[edit] Town 2
You know this is really getting really wild. How can there be a full town in the Cove complete with sunlight? Who are these people, and why are they helping us? Have we lost our minds? There's an Item Shop here that sells rare items, and another Inn. Hope that the two towns don't come right after another or you just might get screwed. You can leave via the Southeast staircase. I wonder what happens to the people of this town once we leave? Do they stop existing? I need some pot.
Treasure Locations:
- N/A
To be continued...
