Vysage

Template:Sideicon Template:FFVIII Enemy Template:See Also Vysage is an enemy from Final Fantasy VIII. It is a giant face coming out of the ground and is sometimes seen with Lefty and Righty. The Gargantua fight begins with a Vysage fight.

Battle

Vysage's moves include Stare, which is a status-inflicting attack on a party member giving Confuse, Silence, Poison, or Blind. Sigh attacks all members. Two other attacks are done only when Lefty and Righty are present: Squeeze is a physical attack on a target, while Curse causes Doom to a target.

Vysage is one of the few non-boss monsters that is unaffected by Quistis's Degenerator Limit Break, Selphie's Rapture and Odin never appears against it. The others are Grat, Lefty, Righty, Cactuar, Tonberry, Esthar Soldier (Terminator), UFO? and PuPu.
