Vertical Cleave is a Blue Magic spell learned from Euvhi in Final Fantasy XI. It deals moderate single-target slashing damage, but misses somewhat often. It costs 3 Blue Magic Points to set, and grants VIT+1 HP-5 MP+5 when set.

• Bypasses Utsusemi, but can be absorbed by Blink.
• Can be paired with any one of the following spells to create the Defense Bonus job trait:
  • Grand Slam
  • Terror Touch
  • Saline Coat
