Other Information

The Tail is a boss enemy in Final Fantasy X-2. It is the first part of Vegnagun the player will face.

BattleEdit

It can hit the entire party for upwards of 1500-2000 damage with both of its attacks.

StrategyEdit

It is recommended to dedicate one character to healing the party while the other two party members concentrate on attacking.

If the party's HP drops too low, one should dedicate one other party member to getting the party back up to speed, then continue the assault. Protect is also useful for reducing the amount of damage the boss can deal, though it is best to use accessories that grant Auto-Protect.

EtymologyEdit

Noli Me Tangere, meaning touch me not, is a Latin version of the phrase supposedly spoken by Jesus Christ to Mary Magdalene when she recognized him after his resurrection. This possibly alludes to Vegnagun trying to prevent the party from destroying it.
