I WAS going to fill in some of them Incomplete Tables for FFIV, but I lost my motivation quickly on that (I hate doing enemy articles. >_<). Anywho....off I go I suppose? Should we perhaps have a page for Group-casting magic? Different games have had different restrictions on what spells can and can't be used on multiple targets at once. A page to note the discrepancies would be nice. Drake Clawfang 07:52, November 12, 2009 (UTC)

I'm thinking we make a general "Overview" section noting Spells that usually can and can't be group-cast (Slow, Life, Protect, Flare, etc), and then in the game section we note exceptions. Like this:

"Spells like Protect, Shell, Life usually cannot be group-cast, though occasionally they have upgrades like Protectga and Shellga which can be."

Then later on in the games section, "In FF2, any spell may be group-cast regardless of level or effect", "In the DS release of FF4, many spells can be group-cast that cannot be in other releases of the game, like Slow and Protect".

If need be we can do a sub-heading in the article "List of spells that cannot be group-cast", then list the more widely-known spells that cannot be. We would also note how games like FF, FF7 and FF12 have had more unique systems of group-casting spells. Drake Clawfang 09:01, November 12, 2009 (UTC)

At the very least, it seems like a lot is getting done around here lately, doesn't it? Well...as far as fixing the links to the status/spell splits sometime ago. AstralJam's been keeping up with that really well, not to say that everyone else hasn't been. I'm kinda glad I never got into doing walkthroughs on here. The ones I did for Gamefaqs long ago were more than enough to make me not want to do them anymore. lol ^^;;

I already know! "You'll come back like you always do!". Probably, but that may be quite a long while. I honestly have run dry on things to do here now, and my interest on working on the wiki has dried out over the past 9 months of doing stuff here. I'm glad to have been a part of this, but I need to let this place go and move on with other things....whatever they may be. Again, I will still chat with people if they so choose to, as I'll still check for messages, but don't expect me to be doing anything unless asked to, and even then I may not do that. You can all blame this on my completion of my FFIX vid walkthrough, as I really (don't) want to go through FFIV to grab all of those images for attacks or abilities, nor do I know when I'll be doing a vid walkthrough on FFI, II, and III (yes Scathe! I'll be doing a vid walkthrough, or playthrough, whichever, of FFII of all things....someday....with all my failures attached to all 3 of the games at that!). So with that, I bid you all farewell until the next time, and keep up the good work, even though there's not that much left to do save for enemies ^^;

As for Attack, I'd say as much info as possible. If possible, equations for damage in every game would be great.

Anywho, I couldn't find anything on FFII's attack formula at all so that's out for now. FFI's, III's, and IV's formulas are ridiculously long since it also factors in things like status effects, elements, defense, and all that. They'd probably be longer than FFVII's section, but if you think that'll be helpful, then I'll put them there. Though should I still credit the author of those formulas at the very bottom of the page? It seems right to do so IMO
