About the XII LocationsEdit

1. If a place has no shop, there's no need to put the Shop title in the entry.
2. Resize your maps, they're taking up too much space.
3. The XII template isn't needed on them.

It's about articles being strictly in-universe; for a fiction article to stand on its own, it must have a substantial amount of out of universe info (development, influences, popularity, etc) attributed to reliable sources. It's really complicated, but it's all about cracking down on articles that are solely plot summaries and unattributable articles. Squall Deckiller 00:11, 15 March 2007 (UTC)

Categorising Edit

With due respect, I categorise the images on the wiki every other day, and your images are what take up most of the time. I realise you are working hard when it comes to the FFXII enemies, but PLEASE categorise the images that you upload from now on. Worth? Once again, with the utmost respect, don't be so goddamn stuck up. You are SUPPOSED to categorise any images you upload. Don't act like you're doing me a favour by doing it. In choosing to upload the images (which we are all grateful for), you CHOOSE to bear the responsability for categorising them. It's not much to ask to put a single line at the foot of an uploaded picture. Don't try to take the moral highground by making out that you're doing me a favour. And I am not doing you or anyone else a favor, I'm adding it to the wiki which is a group effort for all of us. As in, we help each other, heard of it ? I need help, as I have my own web site and my own life too. If you are "grateful" for my pictures, as you said you are, you could pitch in and help, after all I did the lion's share of the work already. I am already spending a lot of time with this, time I don't have. Yet every time I do something here all I get is whining that I didn't do 100% of the job. YES IT'S A DAMN TEAM EFFORT. HENCE THE FFXII ENEMIES ARE NOT THE ONLY PART OF THE GODDAMN WIKI. I don't like loosing my rag with people, and I try to be fair at all times, but you are seriously testing me. I'm asking you to keep the category tag on your clipboard and press ctrl + V on each of the pictures you upload. Why I'm asking you when it's actually part of the welcome message you got when you joined the wiki that you're SUPPOSED to do it anyway is beyond even myself. I don't mind categorising a few stray images every day when I get up in the mornings, but when there are ten to fifteen images from the same person constantly it just pisses me off. I don't mind categorising a few stray images My point exactly. Neither do I. Considering I'm doing the herculean effort of uploading all the 385 beast pictures of the XII bestiary, which entails a LOT MORE than pasting a category with ctrl-V the least you could do was help. I give up. The link to the images has been here for 3 months and no one has uploaded them. After ripping it, saving each beast picture to disk and uploading it to my wiki I was gracious enough to offer it to FF Wiki. Turns out after doing al lthat work I'm supposed to re-upload all 385 pictures, with proper names for here - which is what I use my clipboard for, since my image names using the bestiary card number are considered "not appropriate for her- then I have to post it at the relevant page AND find a category tag for it ? Do you want a silver spoon and a platter too ? I'm doing 95% of the work, and you think your contribution is too much to ask for ? I'm spiffing up the FFXII enemy pages and wants to add the awesome bestiary pictures that you have in your wiki to, where else, here! At first, I loaded images from scanned Battle Ultimania, you can see the image is smaller and at most pixelated. Then some new images were loaded which is much nicer, so I followed suit. To be honest, I took your wiki's bestiary cards and cropped them. But some cards images are lacking, there at your wiki, and I had to use the scanned ones to compensate. Would you have time to upload them more? And, I don't know how i'm going to use the 3d models so I'm not gonna use them, but thanks for the offer anyway :). Sorry if I bother you so much! 		I knew you ran a Forum around this, but who would have thought there was a wiki attached to it? I unearth the abandoned cobweb-filled ruin on my search through Google. It turns out the you're the Admin to the it, well you were the Admin. The only one who edits that place now is some mentally unhinged Vandal who compulsively writes long lists of nonsense links on Talk Pages and only Talk Pages. They included things like "website", "man man sucking video", "normal lymph node", and "Grandma Real Time Player", with such an impressive amount of randomness that I think he might be a computer program of some sort. Every one of the links go nowhere, all of them. The Summaries are always random bits of garbage like "kQwweNMiZEWehUWX". Disturbingly, this guy has been writing miles of these things for over a month now. And from what I can tell, nobody has even noticed until I stumbled upon it. He's freaking me out! Look, he even filled your Talk Page with the junk: http://ffproject.net/forumwiki/index.php/User_talk:Renmiri. Some of these pages are so long that they cause my Internet to violently crash. Its just very strange. Very strange indeed.

Guide to Spira Edit

		I have to do what I do best: Complain. 1. You suggested that Macalania was at a high altitude. This is a good theory, but the ice is actually because of Shiva's Fayth. When it is no longer empowered in FFX-2, the ice even starts to break up. Talking to some of the local inhabitants confirms that it's because of the loss of the Aeon. 2. You said that there were ruins at the bottom of Macalania Lake, but at the time, the protagonists were standing on top of Sin. I have no idea how he got that city on his head. At one time, I thought it came from his crash into Bevelle, but if you look closely, it appears consistently. Just tryin' to help. :P

		Well, yeah, he can. When you're fighting on his arm, he's blasting you with Graviga. That's the glory of magic. Still, I don't remember Sin attacking, and I DEFINATELY remember them standing on top of the thing. Since I don't have a save file there, I guess I'll have to look for an apropo YouTube video, then get back to you. EDIT: Okay, this is a long video, but a bit over halfway through, it gets towards some relevent stuff. Unfortunately, it cuts off before the crucial part, but I'm going to keep looking. In the meantime, you'll note that they're in the open air, with water only to about their ankles. Odd, if they're on the bottom of a lake. [1] EDIT 2: Okay, here's the big one. You'll notice that they specifically mention that something is wrongn with the ground, then look down. Then Lulu says to look out for the toxin (which seems to just be overwhelming them with pyreflies), and they're all knocked unconscious. So, I never really saw that as an "attack," but I guess it could be perceived as one. You don't really know whether or not Sin has to deliberately release all of those pyreflies, or if it just happens naturally. [2] Which leads one to wonder how Sin can get in & out of Macalania Lake. Gravity magic?

		What are you talking about? That looks EXACTLY like the ruins. Besides, what about everything else in the 2 wordwalls? There were no ledges anywhere near Sin, and if Sin was above them, don't you think they'd say, "look up," instead of, "the ground"? No matter how you look at it, they were definately on his head. You did watch the videos, didn't you?
