Glad you could get an account :) --Shockstorm (talk) 22:36, July 12, 2012 (UTC)

It was about goddamn time :P. Unsane (talk) 00:11, July 16, 2012 (UTC)

Official welcome time. Now I can call you Unsane, instead of... well, friendly anon. Emperor-PSPField MATEUS 03:18, July 13, 2012 (UTC)

Thank God... My head exploded when Shockstorm refered to me as "Mr. Random Numbers Anon." Oh, and perhaps I deserved it... Nobody wants Zalgo messages in their talk page (I shouldn't have done that...). Anyway... Unsane is definitely better than that... Meh. Unsane (talk) 00:11, July 16, 2012 (UTC)

Ah, you've got a name now. Pleasure to meet you, Mr. Unsane. I do like your choice of name. >:) - BlitzballArt Tidus357 04:44, July 13, 2012 (UTC)

It's certainly a pleasure to meet you too, though we've probably met before.
And thank you for complementing my Username... Though it has a rather... dark backstory, y'know...
Anyway, this is my official welcoming, so I guess I shouldn't spoil everything. There will be more to come... Meh. Unsane (talk) 00:11, July 16, 2012 (UTC)

Grandmother's HouseEdit

Reality? I've heard of that game. Good graphics, but that's about it...
Anyway, must be odd for city-bound Americans to go to the countryside. Correct me if I'm wrong, but there's not much greenery in the heart of the typical US city, and the closest animal is found between the buns of a burger. I pity you guys :| Emperor-PSPField MATEUS 03:30, July 16, 2012 (UTC)

Oh, Reality. Yeah, I've played that game. It's pretty easy to break, but nobody ever thinks to. All you need is a ridiculously high Charisma, Willpower, and Intelligence. But nobody ever bothers getting those stats, because early on, especially in some levels that are classed as "teenage" the game likes to trick you into thinking you need Strength, and all the other stats are useless. Ugh. C A T U S E 19:29, July 16, 2012 (UTC)
I particularly dislike the ban-happy admins and moderators, partly because of how they limit the PvP system. Obviously there's quite a few flaws, and I eagerly await the release of the 2.0 version (slated for release at the end of this year). --Shockstorm (talk) 19:35, July 16, 2012 (UTC)
Huh. I was to busy trying too busy avoiding starving to death and running from a fire that was, ironically enough, started from me preparing food that was supposed to resolve my hunger. Unsane (talk) 21:11, July 16, 2012 (UTC)

Video policy Edit

Hey Unsane, just letting you know I put your Justice video for deletion since it has nothing to do with FF and can be added to your userpage using the youtube tag thingy. Just thought you should know. C A T U S E 03:19, July 17, 2012 (UTC)

Oh, fine. You can go ahead and delete it. Meh... Unsane (talk) 15:35, July 17, 2012 (UTC)

Dawn of the Talk Bubbles Edit

(Yay for Dawn of the Dead reference ^_^!)

With the blossom of my prominince in these Wikis, I've done it. I've created... THE. BEST. TALK. BUBBLE. EVAR (Yes, I spelled it with an A...)!!!:

Unsane - Read my lips - mercy is for wimps! There's a reason "oppose" rhymes with "dispose"...If they get in your way, kill them!
TALK - {{{time}}}
This is my normal talk bubble.

And another one... Edit

Unsane - Hee-hee... Nothing beats the sweet music of hundreds of voices screaming in unison! Uwee-hee-hee!
TALK - {{{time}}}
I'll use this one too, as an alternate, if you will.

OH MY GOD, ANOTHER ONE!! KILL IT WITH FIRE!! Edit

Unsane - Son of a Submariner! You'll pay for this!
TALK - {{{time}}}
I'll use this one for REVENGE. Just kidding, this is another alternate one.

... Hooray! (>^.^)> <(^_^)> <(^.^<) --Unsane (talk) 18:59, July 17, 2012 (UTC)

Nice! I see you just used the code as is, you know about making a talk bubble template for yourself?Keltainentoukokuu (talk) 23:52, July 17, 2012 (UTC)
I could help you with that. :) - BlitzballArt Tidus357 00:17, July 18, 2012 (UTC)

Making a templateEdit

Well, to make a talk template, create the page User:Unsane/Talk. Then, put in your code for you talk bubble;

{{Talk
|image=Luneth-Magus.png
|color=#4682B4
|color2=#B0C4DE
|color3=#778899
|namecolor=
|namefonttype=Times New Roman
|textcolor=White
|textcolor2=Black
|line=#483D8B
|line2=#483D8B
|border=#000000
|border2=#000000
|border3=#000000
|corners=round
|top-right=round
|bottom-left=round
|fonttype=Times New Roman
|name=Unsane
|sig=Read my lips - mercy is for wimps! There's a reason "oppose" rhymes with "dispose"...If they get in your way, kill them!
|time={{{time}}}
|text={{{text}}}
}}

Once that's done, use

{{User:Unsane/Talk
|time=~~~~~
|text=Put what you want to say here.
}}

There. We'll get to multiple talk bubbles later. :) - BlitzballArt Tidus357 00:48, July 18, 2012 (UTC)

Oh, right. Add;

<noinclude>[[Category:UserTalk templates|Unsane]]</noinclude>

to the bottom of the page. - BlitzballArt Tidus357 01:04, July 18, 2012 (UTC)

The Golden Rule Edit

No. No, no, no, no, no. THIS is the golden rule. >;3 - BlitzballArt Tidus357 02:29, July 19, 2012 (UTC)

:P Equaled? I think that's more advice than a rule. - BlitzballArt Tidus357 02:45, July 19, 2012 (UTC)
You can't argue with me, I argue like the sexist opinion of a woman. ;) - BlitzballArt Tidus357 03:03, July 19, 2012 (UTC)
I'd like to engage in a battle of wits with a lot of people, but it's against my edict to attack unarmed people... :( - BlitzballArt Tidus357 03:22, July 19, 2012 (UTC)

No, no, I've already engaged in a battle of wits with you. There are other people "Unarmed", as in they have no wits. :P - BlitzballArt Tidus357 23:27, July 19, 2012 (UTC)

Really? The only one? D'aw, you flatter me. >;3 And revenge is useless against the grim reaper someone who doesn't exist. And, really, I'd hardly call them random. I deemed you worthy; wear the title with pride, bro. - BlitzballArt Tidus357 01:10, July 20, 2012 (UTC)
God, eh? I can beat that - I don't believe in God. Well, unless you count the sub-saharan goddess named Rahndi. ALL HAIL RAHNDI! - BlitzballArt Tidus357 01:58, July 20, 2012 (UTC)

ChemistryEdit

Huh, if only this "Meh" thing was real. I think everyone is fed up with being constantly reminded about how Chuck Norris kicks ass, despite the fact that Bruce Lee beat him up in Way of the Dragon. Emperor-PSPField MATEUS 23:54, July 21, 2012 (UTC)

Tea Edit

I would love some tea. Milk, no sugar. :) - BlitzballArt Tidus357 02:49, July 22, 2012 (UTC)

Lol, I love those things, but whenever I try to use them the spam filter blocks it. :( - BlitzballArt Tidus357 03:08, July 22, 2012 (UTC)

Special ingredient?... Uh oh. I'm scared now. - BlitzballArt Tidus357 03:25, July 22, 2012 (UTC)
Oh, good. You had me a little worried there... >_> - BlitzballArt Tidus357 03:40, July 22, 2012 (UTC)

Userbox Edit

Firstly, nice signature.

Second, paste this;

{{User personal |bordercolor= Black |textbg=#2F4F4F |imagebg=#191970 |textimage= Black |image=[[Image:Red Mage.jpg|39px]] |fontcolor=White |text=This user also enjoys a nice cup of tea. }}

into User:Unsane/User Tea. Then, where you had this coding on your page, put {{User:Unsane/User Tea}}. Then it will be easier, and I can use it too. :) - BlitzballArt Tidus357 00:11, July 25, 2012 (UTC)

Oh, no, you don't HAVE to. It's just a good idea. More convenient. - BlitzballArt Tidus357 00:26, July 25, 2012 (UTC)

FFIXEdit

I never said Necron was bad - I've always shared the exact same theory on Necron as you: He's the antithesis of what is essentially Final Fantasy IX. The Embodiment of Death itself which views Kuja's act of attempted omnicide as proof that all life exists merely to die, so takes it upon himself to end all life quickly and succinctly. It's only until Zidane proves that he's willing to fight death itself to save existence does Necron realise the will to live. Necron can't die, and he says so himself, because he IS death (the word Necron means "Dead" in Greek, for goodness sakes!). But when on the brink of death, Zidane and the party (who I suppose represent life itself) fight back harder, and defeat death.
That doesn't mean that he fit into the story seamlessly. With what little information we're given, be it dialogue lost in translation or whatever, at first it was a bit unusual to have defeated what you assume is the final boss, only to wake up in an apocalyptic floating tower where you battle a big blue guy who you just met because he wants to end all life. Looking back, it's easy to understand, but in the moment when you're battling Necron it can seem as though the game is screaming "Here's the final boss, just kill it".
I'll always love IX. It's my favourite Final Fantasy, and possibly my favourite video game. And oddly enough, that means a lot to me. Yet I know it has it's flaws. Although I think Necron is one of the greatest final bosses for his sheer symbolism and the fact that you're fighting death, that's not to say he's entirely relevant to the story. Remove him from the story and it would continue without a hitch.

P.S. I know you didn't mention it, but I'd like to say that "Necron theory" can go to hell. There is no way that Necron is Soulcage - I killed that worm back in Disc 2, regardless of whether or not he claimed that he was going to live on. There's nothing to hint that Necron is another one of Garland's minions who's still obsessed with the flow of souls, which is a plot point that we left in the dust when Kuja went all "Cloud of Darkness" on us. Emperor-PSPField MATEUS 06:17, July 26, 2012 (UTC)

My friend, I think you fail to understand one very important detail - Final Fantasy IX's music is so awesome that it doesn't NEED to be remixed. Honestly, do you think any mere remix can compare to the sheer awesome that is Darkness of Eternity? ... or is it called Dark Messenger...? Eh, it's still awesome. Emperor-PSPField MATEUS 07:20, July 27, 2012 (UTC)

Awesome face Edit

TALK - Summoner of Nyan 15:01, July 26, 2012 (UTC)
Hi there Unsane, I don't believe we've spoken before. Stumbling across your page, I discovered a cluttered box of what looks like scrambled data. Upon clicking 'Edit' it came up as an Awesome Face (which is awesome). So, what I'm trying to say is, your Awesome Face only works in Preview, or it might be Monobook screwing up on me. Whatever it is, I thought I should point it out.

RE:TheoryEdit

I don't think it was inferior, just slightly different. What's great about these things is that you can make your own interpretations on it. I think FFIX has the best themes in the saga myself. That Vivi comes to the conclusion that life doesn't need any bigger or greater meaning than just...living it...because just having lived a life contributes to the whole planet's memory and the circle of life thing. Whereas Kuja initially thinks that if life has no big meaning, then it's pointless and it's better to never live at all, than to live and then die. But after being defeated and after he has inadvertently summoned Necron his "near death experience" finally lets him value life for what it is. After this it is shown that the remaining genomes value Kuja as the first genome who dared to go against his destiny and treat himself as an individual, and that all genomes can learn from this fits the continuation of memory thing, and proves Kuja's fears wrong of him not leaving a worthwhile legacy behind.

FFXIII's free will versus destiny theme could have been good if it was tackled differently... FFVIII's story where big world-changing destiny themes play as mere backdrop where the personal journey to enlightenment is the "true" story and ultimately the more relevant one, was interesting an idea, but too fragmented. FFIX just stands on its own league in this respect I think.Keltainentoukokuu (talk) 15:35, July 26, 2012 (UTC)

Haa it is the worst username too. I originally just used it in eBay as a name no one would know to use to look me up, and put it here too as I didn't think I'd be using the account for anything other than pure editing of the mainspace. Don't have my amoral arbitrage business anymore, so not bothered if people spy on what I buy from eBay. ;)
I always liked your username. Clever.Keltainentoukokuu (talk) 16:05, July 26, 2012 (UTC)

Ooh a bit of mystery, you could be the Gogo of the wiki. ;)Keltainentoukokuu (talk) 16:41, July 26, 2012 (UTC)

Mime can use any ability! But Red Mages do have the best hats...Keltainentoukokuu (talk) 16:58, July 26, 2012 (UTC)

Ooh that is a nice hat. The hats in FFX-2 Black Mage hat are nice too.Keltainentoukokuu (talk) 18:50, July 26, 2012 (UTC)

File:Exdeathbattle.png Edit

I figured I should inform you -- we have an identical image already on the Wiki :) Policy dictates that when there are identical images, one should be deleted. Were you planning on replacing it with yours or something? Anyways, figured I should let you know if you didn't already know about that =) thanks for helping the Wiki! Jimcloud 01:20, July 27, 2012 (UTC)

Oh wow did I just reply to Jim's page. She don't mind. She's nice. <3 But I think the Add Photo button works for wikis where the staff manage all licensing and categorising, but since we here like people doing that themselves (because they know best themselves where it's from and what it is...), it doesn't work so well.Keltainentoukokuu (talk) 02:21, July 27, 2012 (UTC)

Unsane, don't worry. Just yesterday I uploaded an image that was already there (and I got to stick a dup template on it myself when I went to put it on a page, that was humbling :p). And I'm still finding screenshots from FFV that are useful, so you don't need to limit yourself to a certain game (although like Jim said, it might be more difficult). --Shockstorm (talk) 02:25, July 27, 2012 (UTC)

VIIIEdit

Aha! I knew you'd come around.
VIII rocks. It's a lot more mature than the other games, and it's not about "saving the world because we're heroes!" Once you take a step back and look at VIII, it's about a mercenary who's psychological trauma which resulted from constant abandonment made him socially cut-off from the rest of the world. Squall's thoughts are unique in a sense that it shows how he really feels as opposed to how he wants people to see him. And so the story isn't about stopping Ultimecia (although it sort of is), I consider it more about Squall learning that he has to open up to people because the trauma of losing them is not as important as the time he spends with them. Also, time travelling witches and schools that take flight = AWESOME.
Shame about your disc... my VIII disc is almost equally as broken. The FMV where the gates fall on Edea's parade float always freezes, preventing me from playing past that point. Good thing I finished the game before the disc screwed up. Emperor-PSPField MATEUS 04:09, August 8, 2012 (UTC)

Wow Mateus, that's officially the corniest explanation of VIII's plot that I've even seen. C A T U S E 00:34, August 9, 2012 (UTC)
You mean like this?
But seriously, I blame it on watching too many Disney movies. Emperor-PSPField MATEUS 04:51, August 10, 2012 (UTC)

My DayEdit

Well, just woke up about an hour ago, and now I'm watching Seinfeld... so far so good. Emperor-PSPField MATEUS 01:17, August 11, 2012 (UTC)

Never seen Kill Bill. Only Tarantino films I've ever seen are Inglourious Basterds and Pulp Fiction, the latter being quite possibly my favourite film. Emperor-PSPField MATEUS 07:01, August 11, 2012 (UTC)

MehEdit

I've actually been playing five. Or rather I was playing five. Sort of lost interest when I went to Walz castle after getting Ifrit to beat Shiva, then had to backtrack all the way to the Library of Ancients. I'm not overly fond of the game... I'm sure one day I'll get back into it.
Have you ever played VI? I hear nothing but good things about it. Actually, I own it (or rather a sibling owns it) yet I haven't gotten around to playing it. As for XII... I don't have much of an interest in that game. Both the art style and the gameplay. But the general consensus of the community regarding the game is positive, so enjoy. Userpage quoteEdit

Just came across your userpage and thought I should mention your "Laughter is just slaughter without the S..." quote is worthy of Kefka Palazzo XD Consider that a complement! SetzerLeonhart (talk) 14:54, September 23, 2012 (UTC)

Haha then am I to take it you are quite as sane as Kefka? Oh well.. I guess we are all mad here XD SetzerLeonhart (talk) 23:45, September 23, 2012 (UTC)

Haha true :) SetzerLeonhart (talk) 00:23, September 24, 2012 (UTC)

OmegaEdit

I never finished Final Fantasy V. I got as far as the Library of the Ancients before losing interest and giving up. Nor was I ever one for superbosses... I remember attempting to fight Ultima Weapon in Final Fantasy X once, and it killed me in seconds. To be fair I didn't actually mean to come across it, I was just trying to power-level Yuna to get 50 Strength (because then Anima becomes overpowered to the max).
