| Honestly the Samurai franchise is a little to complicated for me. I like Dynasty warriors cause it allows to me to just get into the thick of it and destroy several hundred people in about ten minutes. From what I understand of Samurai warriors, its a lot more customization based.

| It is a bit more complex, it's not just 'Weapon, Horse, Items, Bodyguard. Go!' like DW is.
SW has 'Weapon, Horse, Bodyguard. Go!' but there's special moves, skills & 3 different types of moveset. XL furthers this with Orbs & Special skills.
So yea it's more complicated, but I like still both equally. In some ways one is better than the other, such as I prefer the history of SW, but the people of DW.
It's all opinion really... But anyway, bring on WO2!

| Yeah, it is quite different, but now even more characters from different series get to meet up. A fun thing would be Sakon, Fu Xi & Guan Ping meeting up and argueing about who is better with a big sword.
The Orochi one is good because you'll be fighting for the bad guys and we can finally know why Keiji, Masamune and the others work for Orochi. Also, apparently everyone is involved in the story as all the characters are met in the main stages, not the extra ones (if there are any) and therfore will not be forgotten about like the characters from WO in the X-stages.

I had heard rumours but I hadn't heard anything official nor had I checked on Koei Warriors, so thanks for letting me know.
The Fu Xi one (big sword user) is Ma Chao, just so you know. In the original DW6 he still had his spear but it looks like it has been changed for DW6:PS2.
I've pre-ordered my copy of WO2 so I should get it (fingers crossed) on the release day.

"This was actually one of my biggest problems with EoS. There were maybe three writers that knew exactly what should happen and had intricate plans to create the scenario they needed. And while the end result was always spectacular, I always felt afraid to write about the villains fro fear that I would somehow completely destroy what ever they were building up to."
My first thought was "...we knew exactly what we were doing?" I think we had a lot of plans, then threw them up and just went with it most of the time ^^;.
