[edit] Profile

The first Job to be structured with that section was Red Mage, and was done by Bluerfn in preparation for December's FA. A handful of other Jobs since were that section, and earlier I gave a similar treatment to many others. You haven't had a problem with this for a whole year, so....? I like to play "wiki ruler". What I want seems to get done a lot around here. I wanted to see if this is another situation where what I say goes.
But I still don't like it. The opening paragraph/s of an article should be about the subject as a whole. The Appearances should go into each thing individually. While I'm generally fine with the idea of having other headers, there's just one here. And everything works fine in an opening. So if it were to be split into an "Abilities", "Appearance"/"Design" (etc.) sections, then it wouldn't be fine. But just to have one "Profile" section above appearances seems... redundant.
But do whatever. I suppose it makes some sense in that these paragraphs are actually good paragraphs, and therefore long. Which means it looks nasty all above the TOC.
I hate both methods equally. I'm just being a dick.  ILHI (W/B) 19:02, November 2, 2009 (UTC)
lol....um, okay? I agree that an Abilities section would be nice, the problem is it wouldn't work for some jobs. Monks and Ninjas have many abilities tied to them, while Knights for example, not so much. Drake Clawfang 19:32, November 2, 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Sorry!

Biggs&Wedge - are the Red Wings - the pride of Baron!
TALK - 17:36, November 6, 2009 (UTC)
Gee I bet my reputation is just doing awesome in your book. Sorry about placing my templates in mainspace. Just a quick queston, do I use the same shortcut to use them or do I have to put Biggs&Wedge first?

Just type {{User:Biggs&Wedge/B&WPSA7}}. It functions exactly the same in template space as it does in your userspace.

[edit] Trasparent Images

If you tell me how to make images with traparent background, I would be able to do it for you and not bother your "Wiki-Break".

PhotoShop. Or I use PhotoPlus X2 because opening PhotoShop kills my laptop. Essentially you need a graphics program that allows transparency.

I'll try to do that.

[edit] Who did you say that to?

the fuck you comment.--WedgeandBiggs 19:34, November 9, 2009 (UTC)

The guy who VFDd your talkpage, don't remember his name but it's not like I care... the guy with the comment just above mine.  ILHI (W/B) 19:37, November 9, 2009 (UTC)

Your userpage is definitly the best out of everybodys in my humble opinion.--WedgeandBiggs 17:40, November 10, 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Ha ha ha

I saw your "social interview", cute. The problem with your question about me is it assumes some day I'll be nominated for Admin, in which case you'll not vote for me. Let's be realistic here. :p Drake Clawfang 19:56, November 9, 2009 (UTC)

You probably have more chance than me since I can't commit to this place anymore. Which is a real shame because if I was part of the administration team... this place would run exactly the same except the many "unwritten rules" would probably be written. :3 --Social Interview is an application on Facebook, I just stole the questions from there.  ILHI (W/B) 20:03, November 9, 2009 (UTC)
Agreed, there's so many "unwritten rules" here it's hard to keep them all straight. Honestly, I think you'd make a fine Admin, better than me anyway. And if anyone has a chance at being Admin, its Yuan. Drake Clawfang 20:04, November 9, 2009 (UTC)
Yuan would be admin over Faethin and 8bit if she didn't pull herself out of the "Vote to make person (but not rly, multiple pplz) admin" thing.  ILHI (W/B) 20:09, November 9, 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, good point. Drake Clawfang 20:10, November 9, 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Talk:List of Dissidia Final Fantasy Summons

You have conflicting opinions; in October you said that this page was a "List of Summons", but now you like Summons (Dissidia). The latter doesn't match up with List of Summons, but then, Eidolon (Final Fantasy IX) doesn't either, and this gives info in a list format. Eidolon (Final Fantasy IV) doesn't give listed info, though. Do you agree with simply having a page like Eidolon (Final Fantasy IX) and then listing all the storyline information AND listed gameplay data on that same page? Having "Eidolon (Final Fantasy IV) and a "List of Final Fantasy IV Eidolons" page would be needless splitting up, IMO. 8bit 22:36, November 10, 2009 (UTC)

No, I said it was a list of summons. Look at the move history of that article.
I talked to you about this a while back. How "List of Summons" is far from a suitable name when you want to link to a page which talks about summons as a thing. I don't want to link to a list of summons, because a list of summons won't tell you what summons are.
The Dissidia Summon's article contains a list of summons. But it's not just a list. So why should it have "List" in it's title? It would be like called "Midgar" "Enemy formations in Midgar" just because it has an enemy formations section on the page.  ILHI (W/B) 22:42, November 10, 2009 (UTC)
Alright, so for individual games, as you said in that edit summary, the list and storyline info should be combined into one page, because summons have storyline importance, as opposed to armor or abilities. Right, now I see that Dissidia is the only game with a List for Summons page, only because I moved it. Kayz. 8bit 22:46, November 10, 2009 (UTC)
While you're here, can you tell me what's on the deleted talk of "Talk:Zombie Attack"? Or just tell me if I said anything, and if I did, can you C+P it on my talkpage?  ILHI (W/B) 22:49, November 10, 2009 (UTC)
Talk:Zombie Attack It's actually pretty important.... Jeppo took the same "if it's an ability, it should have a page" position, like you. You do say things on the page, and I'm thinking it's probably going to be restored, so, yeah. 8bit 22:56, November 10, 2009 (UTC)

So I guess every ability, even if it appears in one game, is going to get an article then I'm assuming? (And no, I'm on my break so don't expect any editing from me for a while) Xenomic 23:05, November 10, 2009 (UTC)
Player ability, yes. 8bit 23:07, November 10, 2009 (UTC)
I see. In that case, I guess I have some things to do for when I come back. Are we going to make a template for each game like this then? Might be worth doing I suppose.... Xenomic 23:19, November 10, 2009 (UTC)
