I happen to like Cloud, Zack, Vincent and Tidus too! I also like Yuna because she one of the most strong-willed heroines in the series. But anyways, I'm more into the FFVII saga. Hey Krystal Tomlin, I got your message and I even looked at your userpage. Anyway, I really do think that Square should remake Final Fantasy VII because now that Crisis Core is out and because of the new technology, they could improve it for the many of us who haven't play it and want to. It would also make them a ton of money; and with the backstory explored in Crisis Core and the new characters (Angeal, Cissnei, Lazard...), the story could be expanded on. Plus, the characters now have voice actors. On a final note, since Square says that the Compilation can go on until 2017, then a remake should be possible.

Wow! 2017 would be like nine years from now. I can't wait until Dissidia comes out in the US! My heart leaped for joy as soon as Cloud and Terra were recently confirmed as characters in Final Fantasy: Dissidia.

I don't really hate FFXII, I just never played it. I haven't even gotten a PlayStation 2 yet, and I want one! I've always enjoyed playing on that Playstation 2 and the only game I've ever beaten is Final Fantasy X-2. It sucks that I didn't get a good Tidus ending though.

Hey, I got your message. Yes, I saw the Advent Children Complete trailer on YouTube and it looks really good. I heard in Japan it's going to be released in March along with the Final Fantasy XIII playable demo, which also looks really good. I can't wait to see what new scenes are going to be like. But I cannot seem to find any new Dissidia trailers that have Cloud and Terra in it, even though it was shown on the Tokyo Game Show.
BTW, have you ever been on my Rock Pit page yet? It's full of very mundane fights between FF characters and you can even suggest one! I'm also doing a page on my version of a FFVII sequel!

My dad actually watched part of AC with me and my mom a few weeks ago. He didn't think Cloud could lift a sword that size, freaked out when I told him an alien's head is in that box, and asked why they were saying "Digimon" in the part of Sephiroth's theme song where they chant his name. I don't know about the Cloud Vol. 2 thing, but from what I could get from the trailer, it sounded like they were releasing it on both regular and Blu-Ray.

I thought as much as much, but all I'm hearing is Blu-ray, and since some people aren't switching to Blu-ray, Square should be mentioning DVD as well. What do you guys think the deal is? BTW, do you think that Square should fix the lip-sync problem like they did with Crisis Core so that it'll look better.

I am so getting this when it comes to the States (which it better)! The new scenes of the highway chase sequence are freakin' awesome, and the scene with Denzel in Midgar looks like part of his story from On the Way to a Smile. Why didn't Tetsuya Nomura do this version in the first place, and why didn't Square-Enix release it in theaters?

Hey everyone it's been a while, but guess what. I've seen ACC and it effin' rocks. All of the new scenes and music are amazing, this one totally trumps the original version in every way I can think of. The longer Cloud vs. Sephiroth battle is the bomb, the new Denzel and Marlene scenes are great (given the fact that they have new and better VAs), even the extra Zack scenes (they even redesigned him to match his CC appearance). Has anyone else seen it and loved it? If so, let me know ASAP!

I already saw some scenes on YouTube in lower quality and I still loved it. (Luckily they're not even copyrighted yet...) Upon hearing Rufus has the same voice, Wally Wingert might've redubbed some of his lines. Can't wait to get a Blu-Ray!

I didn't exactly import the movie, I actually downloaded it off some torrent site. I just couldn't wait anymore after seeing some of the scenes on Youtube like you. I especially like how they added dirt and blood to the fight scenes. There's a moment in the Cloud and Sephiroth fight where it's basically (Cloud in a puddle of blood). I also love how the Moogle girl sort of gets her own sidestory, and how the movie makes Geostigma actually look like a serious threat. From the scenes you've seen so far, what do you like about them?

FF Remakes Edit
I seen the trivia for the articles about FF8 and FF9, and both said that Square considered remaking them for the PS2 but never did. I want those games, including FF7 to be remade for PS3 or something, since they first came out when I was about six years old and I want to play them. What do you guys think? And should Square remake FF games from the PS2, like FFX and X-2?

Solving the FFVII Double Love TriangleEdit
What if by some miracle Square does decide to resurrect characters like Zack and Aerith, then why not pair up Cloud with Aerith, and Tifa with Zack? According to The Maiden who Travels the Planet, Aerith loves Cloud more than she did Zack and wanted to be with him forever, and Tifa always wanted a SOLDIER boyfriend to protect her. So it would make a lot of sense right? What do you think?

That Tifa thing you said isn't accurate. Tifa wanted her "knight in shining armor" to rescue her. The only reason "SOLDIER" was even used was because Cloud was so confident that he'd get in. As for Aerith, looking back, I get the impression that she acted more like a sister to Cloud.

Dirge of Cerberus sequelEdit
Does anyone think that it's about time for Square to bring out a sequel to DoC? It has been over 5 years and still nothing, and I want to see whether or not Genesis is returning as a villian or a hero.

Its been less than three years, and I'd rather not see anything like Dirge of Cerberus again. Another game in the FFVII universe, maybe - if its of quality, but nothing like Dirge of Cerberus.

Then how about a battle system like the original FF7, where we control a party of characters, that way they can have more of role in the game unlike DoC where most of the characters like Cloud and Tifa only made cameos. For the plot, Cloud and his friends learn about Genesis and Sephiroth could make another return, bringing a bit of Crisis Core into the picture.

Interesting idea. However, I don't think Square would make a sequel to Dirge. Dirge was their lowest selling game and generally that means that another plans for a sequel.

So maybe just a new title to continue the FFVII story because Tetsuya Nomura says that Square has ideas for the next installment in the Compilation.

I actually liked Dirge of Cerberus more than Crisis Core, but I doubt Square is gonna do anything like that again. Judging by the secret ending, Genesis looks more evil than ever. I don't understand how people can possibly think he's good now. In the next installment, Genesis should be the main villian and Sephiroth's "final incarnation" or whatever should be foreshadowed as the final game. Square said the compilation will come to a close on it's 20th anniversary in 2017. Until then, VII characters can have a nice spotlight next year. 2012 will be very special and Square has already hinted about it. 2012=FF 25th anniversary, VII's 15th anniversary, Kingdom Hearts' 10th anniversary, and XII's 5th anniversary. Therefor, we should have high expectations for next year

Does FFXIII have the worst love story and couple in the series?Edit
Does anyone else think that FFXIII's love story could have been better if Snow had eventually fallen in love with Lightning? I mean Serah is 18, Snow almost looks 30, and Serah is half his height. It just doesn't look realistic or right to me, it makes Snow look like a pedophile. Not even their clothes compliment each other. Besides, Snow spends more time with Lightning during the couse of the game while Serah is just a crystal, he could have changed his mind.

This is my opinion but I strongly feel that Snow and Lightning should have been the couple of FFXIII. There was a lot of the promotional artwork featuring them together, so naturaly one would think that they would be paired up. Why would Square pair Snow with Serah who doesn't do much when they were mainly advertising him with Lightning. Besides, some of his best scenes in the game are with Lightning. One scene is when they're in a bedroom in Hope's house and another is the FMV in Chapter 11 when they talk about Serah. If Square really does do a sequel, think SnowxLightning will go anywhere?

The edits themselves are perfectly fine, but I'm beginning to tire slightly of my watchlist returning comparatively insignificant edits time and time again. Could you perhaps try "stockpiling" all the changes you plan to make for a couple of days, and do them all in one bigger edit? Of course, you have no reason to listen to me if you don't want to :P Also, don't misunderstand my intentions: this is just a friendly suggestion. It only pleased me more to find that you have very similar interests in the Final Fantasy series, something I have been a fan of since the age of 7. Wow! I'm new to the wikia as a member (but I have been actively perusing it for years now) and I would just like to say that you have a fantastic profile! The majority of your sentiments fall right in line with mine (FFX was my favorite game and the first FF that I really go into). The layout of you page in particular is stunning (so organized!).
Being a huge FFXIII fan like myself what were your thoughts on Snow? People really rip him on the forums and the like but he was personally my favorite character.

Personally, I mostly hate Snow because of his severe "hero complex," how he's almost unable to stop saying "hero" and "Serah" in almost every sentence, how he always talks and acts first but seemingly never thinks about what he does or says, and how he acts like a huge man-child. By the end of XIII, he doesn't seem to have changed at all unlike the other characters, as though he didn't have any character development. I did however like the moments where he was sentimental and actually serious about things, rather than seeing eveything in life as a game; and I mean the certain moments in Palumpolum, the Fifth Ark, and Gran Pulse.

About XIII Edit
Understanding that you're a huge fan of it and have been a major contributor to the wiki's coverage on it, may I ask why you must expand so much on the story sections? As you said, they should be briefly detailed, but more often than not you're posting huge walls of text that take a lot of time to sift through to extract the relevant information. Please keep in mind when editing that the story sections should be just that, a brief summary of the plot, and in the case of a character, a brief summary of that character's role in the story, and not a summary of the story from that character's perspective. You seem like you know quite a bit about the FF series, ding bonus points! :P Anyway, do you also play other rpg series? And in that case, which ones? :3
And, are you by any chance a cosplayer as well? :D
Aside from Final Fantasy, the only other RPG series I play and I'm really into is Kingdom Hearts, it got me into Final Fantasy in the first place. Only one from that series I haven't played yet is Re: Chain of Memories. Still haven't managed to beat the first game, stuck on the second battle with Riku in Hollow Bastion, but I've beaten the other five games. And I've never cosplayed, never been to a convention but I have seen them on TV.

I played FFVII as the first, then number VIII, IX and X and then kingdom hearts :D
But yeah that fight with Riku is quite hard @.@' took me a while too :P he is the toughest boss during the storyline at least :3 Oh well Re: Chain of Memories should be coming with the HD collection pack they've been talking about making for KH, however no one ever knows if they're willing to ship it outside of Japan <.<'

My first FF game was X, then X-2, VIII, Crisis Core and Dissidia. A while back, it was officialy announced that Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix will be released outside Japan in the fall; so of course I'm getting it. The only time I can really "cosplay" is on Halloween, otherwise I'm pretty busy.

I'm a college student but I'm currently taking time off. I love Yuna too, even more because of her transformation in X-2. As for Crisis Core, the first part that always makes me cry is the very middle of the game when Angeal dies. Despite him being a brand new character, I really came to care about him. Of course, Zack's death at the end just makes me cry like crazy. But Zack's dialogue after his death also makes me smile through the tears.

Yuna turned really badass, not to say smoking in X-2, and her songs? Oh my goodness they're so amazing, even though it's not Hedy Burress singing :P And just seeing Yuna wielding a blade or a white mage robe was Fan-tastic if you know what I mean XD
Angeal is a very special character :3
In such a short time, he gets to affect the player so much :D it's really amazing, but I guess it's because of the way that Zack feels about Angeal as well, seeing him as a mentor and a dear friend :3
Crisis Core was just amazing, I only wished to play it on my PS3 to really get immersed, then you'd most likely see me crying like crazy every single time I played that game XD

My name's Alea, pronounced "uh-lay-yuh". I've been excited about Versus ever since seeing the first trailer how many years ago. Seeing it's Nomura's first time directing a FF game, it really looks special, a FF game that looks like it could take place in the real world. I also like how Noctis is going to be a shy protagonist who tries to cover up his shyness by acting cool, something I personally identify with since I'm very shy myself.

OH MY GOD! When I watched the first trailer! I more or less fell off my chair XD IT SEEMS AMAZING! It's like they took FFVII and Dirge of Cerberus, made a darker, more realistic world kind of like the one from Kingdom Hearts, The world that never was and poof! you have something that looks kinda like the main setting from Versus :D
I can't get enough of that game, I actually plan on cosplaying Noctis because well... he's a cool guy :)

My parents were both born in Jamaica but I was born here in America. Fun fact: my name is the last 4 letters of my mom's name, Azalea. Nomura said so himself that he always wanted to try having a shy character in the main role. I love the idea 'cause to me, the leading characters in the FF series have always been either strong, confident, emo, cheerful, or unsure of themselves; so I think it's great that Nomura is giving the shy persona a chance in the spotlight. Oh really :D That's pretty cool :D In my family we have this thing about using the initials K, H and B in our names, so my middle name starts with H since my last name starts with B :P kind of like a family crest thing :P
Yeah it's always nice to see something different ^^ I'm writing a lot of stories myself and I always try to make very different characters :D It just adds a whole nother dimension to how the world is percieved since we percieve the world through our characters eyes and thoughts ^^
