Hello Dazuro you should make a user page so people can get to know you better!!If you need help ask me!

Or me lol out of nowhere.
I'm quite accustomed to the workings of Wiki, but thanks. That said, I would like to know how to make those nifty little userbox thingamajiggers. Dazuro 02:35, 8 August 2008 (UTC)

The Fiends have a new club name, and they've all been given schmancy titles, eh? I probably won't be getting IV DS, so how does that scene with Porom and Palom work out with the 3D graphics?
Howdi there. I noticed a bit of discussion on 8Bit's talk page about categorizing images. Here is how I finally got to where I can do this. It came from Yuanchosaan.
1-Go to your preferences (Should be at the top, witht the other user links.)
2-In preferences, choose skins. There are quite a few skins in here, but the one you are loonking for is monobook. Select this for your skin.
3-Now scroll down a bit to the "Let the admins override my skin choice". Un-check that, so the new skin will take.
4-Now it will be different from any of the other skins. You cannot upload images from the edit tables. But you can from the link on the left side menu under toolbox. I find it easier, to have a page for uploading, as well as a second page for editing. Just copy/paste the image url in the second page, and done.
With this skin, you are given a Summary box (That is shown in the image Blue gave you and myself). There is where the category is placed. If categorized right, when the image loads, there should be a link on the right side saying Category Final Fantasy ___ images/enemy images/ or whatever the category is. If that link does not work, something was missed, and will need to be edited further. But this will save a lot of time re-editing the category after image loading.
Sorry for butting in, but you don't have to switch to Monobook. Just head over to Special:Upload. For a link on the navigation bar (for Monaco), just look under "Help and Rules." If you prefer the Monaco skin (or any other skin I assume), then you can still use it.
I actually didn't know you could upload from the edit areas...>_>
Hi, if you have a question, use the talk pages instead of silently removing content. Thanks. Bluetash 21:56, 12 November 2008 (UTC)
What specifically are you referring to? Dazuro 21:59, 12 November 2008 (UTC)
He's refering to that section mentioning the Warrior of Light's "alternative costume". You know the picture of him that's red but didn't have any official source. Diablocon 22:01, 12 November 2008 (UTC)
Oh. Well in that case, sod off. >_> Dazuro 22:01, 12 November 2008 (UTC)

If you can get the FFIII DS Boss images that would be great thanks. I'm doing a FFIII Walkthrough at the moment and it kind of sucks using the old images.
You got it huh? I envy you. Awesome though, good to know we have an editor who can supply the information so quickly after its release. Drake Clawfang 20:09, 17 December 2008 (UTC)
Tell me, you lucky dog - is it as epic as the gameplay vids make it out to be? Drake Clawfang 03:45, 18 December 2008 (UTC)
Hizzles yizzles. The fights all look like something out of AC, only fully controllable. Unless Exdeath is involved. Then he just kind of walks about one meter an hour and teleports completely at random because there's no fucking way to control him. But, er, anyway. The mechanics are surprisingly deep and well-made. Ex-modes and bursts are like SSB Brawl's final smashes, but far better balanced and actually requiring skill. Plus your movesets can be completely customized as you level up. Good stuff. Dazuro 04:04, 18 December 2008 (UTC)
Sweet. I am so getting this when it comes to NA. I'm watching YouTube waiting for the first of hundreds of Kefka vs Sephiroth vids. I watched a Kefka vs Zidane vid earlier from the storyline - Kefka won, and Zidane had to rematch him to advance. Epic stuff, really. I said it a while ago - with the best heroes and villains from the franchise, how could this game possibly be bad? Drake Clawfang 04:07, 18 December 2008 (UTC)
Hey, while I'm here, tell me, what are Arenas #11 and 12? I know the first ten. Anything else really awesome to know? Sorry, I'm just giddy because the next few days, hearing about the game and watching the vids, will be awesome. The last time I felt like this was when StarCraft II was announced. Drake Clawfang 04:11, 18 December 2008 (UTC)
Hm? There's a level each for 1-10, one for Cosmos, and Random. If there's another somewhere, I don't know about it yet. Dazuro 04:12, 18 December 2008 (UTC)
Hm, odd. The Dissidia page says there's 12 arenas. Maybe a hidden one for Chaos? Drake Clawfang 04:15, 18 December 2008 (UTC)
I think once I remember you saying there was another translation of FFII. What is this translation and how much do you know about it? ILHI 20:29, 3 February 2009 (UTC)
I presume you mean Dark Shadow Over Palakia? I know about it because I own it. :P It was done by the same team as the original SNES FF4/"FF2", only it never got finished being proofread, so it's full of priceless lines like "Piretes are great!" and "I only steal from the Empires." The game was never released, and they put out FF4 as 2 instead, but the ROM leaked onto the internet years later, terrible dialogue and all. Dazuro 01:28, 4 February 2009 (UTC)
Ack, I misread that. Thought you said "how do you know so much about it?"
I know a fair amount, and I have a full list of enemies and such. Dazuro 01:31, 4 February 2009 (UTC)
So adding another section to the FFII infobox and you filling them in wouldn't be that hard? As a wiki we should cover all English translations and all. I Lion Heart I 17:10, 4 February 2009 (UTC)
I offered a while ago, but no one responded back then. :P I'm bad with tables, but I'll fill it in once it's made for sure. Dazuro 23:18, 4 February 2009 (UTC)
You can add...
| DSOP =
... to the infobox, followed by the name to add the DSOP names. At least, if my revision isn't undone. I Lion Heart I 21:04, 11 February 2009 (UTC)
Explain how the attack hitting outside its range is not a glitch. Doreiku Kuroofangu 23:32, December 17, 2009 (UTC)
It's a pseudo-chain attack. Dark Cannon chains into Souleater, and Search Light chains into Paladin Force. In the former's case, it merely traps an enemy, but in the latter it extends the range. The tactic is alluded to in the names and descriptions, and the strategy guide mentions it as a legit combo.
Unless, of course, you want to try to tell me that Jecht's combo moves are glitches too? After all, those aren't explicitly listed in his commands either. Care to explain how a brave attack getting cancelled and dealing HP damage mid-way isn't a glitch?
Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe Cecil's thing was accidental, and the guide writers just decided to roll with it. But seeing as they increased the tracking range from the JP-US version rather than fixing the "glitch", I'm not inclined to believe that without a source saying "oops, yes, it was a glitch and instead of fixing it we made it twice as powerful." Dazuro 23:38, December 17, 2009 (UTC)
Excuse me? This is not the same as Dark Cannon - Soul Eater. Dark Cannon draws them closer so you can hit them with Soul Eater, this is entirely different. Cecil skips the first part of Paladin Force to hit enemies well outside its normal range. When an attack does something it isn't supposed to do, that's a glitch, friend. Doreiku Kuroofangu 23:42, December 17, 2009 (UTC)
Perhaps there's a misunderstanding here. I've never seen it skip any part of Paladin Force. In my extensive experience with Cecil, using it before the attack ends does not cancel anything. You have to wait for Search Light to hit, then after the attack connects, use Paladin Force, which will then send Cecil way outside his normal range to deal HP damage...but only if Search Light's projectile already hit. To my knowledge, using Paladin Force before Searchlight hits just makes the bits disappear, while Paladin Force's magic ball gets no more range than usual. Unfortunately, my PSP is broken, so I can't test if there's some weird way to get what you're talking about to happen. Maybe it's a weird side-effect of the legit combo I refer to, if you time it just right? Dazuro 23:46, December 17, 2009 (UTC)
When Cecil normally uses Paladin Force, he throws a projectile of light, then starts diving around and slashing the opponent. If you hit them with the "combo", then Cecil skips the "projectile of light" attack and goes right to the diving and slashing. It's not like "throw Searchlight to immobilize them so my light projectile is sure to hit", you hit with Searchlight, Cecil skips the projectile altogether. Doreiku Kuroofangu 23:51, December 17, 2009 (UTC)
Something trippy's going on here then. I'm positive he doesn't skip the projectile, I always wait for it to hit before pressing the Paladin Force button--it's one of the mainstays of my playstyle. Clearly there's something that changes it between the legit combo and your 'glitch' version, but I don't know what it is. Dazuro 23:55, December 17, 2009 (UTC)
Here, this shows the glitch as I'm explaining it. Cecil doesn't throw the light projectile, he just dives forward and attacks. It's the JPN version, but I've tried it in my English vers and it works just the same. Doreiku Kuroofangu 23:58, December 17, 2009 (UTC)
Uh... what? The searchlight hits and traps the enemy just like I said. What's the problem? It doesn't skip anything, just chains the two moves together. Dazuro 00:00, December 18, 2009 (UTC)
It does skip though, notice Cecil does not throw the projectile in Paladin Force. Doreiku Kuroofangu 00:03, December 18, 2009 (UTC)
Forget it, you're right, I'm stupid, sorry for bringing it up. Doreiku Kuroofangu 00:04, December 18, 2009 (UTC)
Ohhh, I see. I thought you meant it skipped the Search Light projectile. Still, there's absolutely no evidence that it's a glitch. Sorry, I'm not trying to be obstinate here, but ... Dazuro 00:06, December 18, 2009 (UTC)
edit conflict I can confirm. Throw in searchlight and hit the opponent with it. You can be quite far away opponent and it won't matter: Cecil will skip the little light at the beginning of pal force and dive from afar at the opponent. Faethinte audio 00:08, December 18, 2009 (UTC)
Some foes in Shade Impulse give a DP if you get your Critical Modifier to 8.0x or higher. I think there's a few in the Distant Glories and Inward Chaos too, but I don't fully remember. Doreiku Kuroofangu 22:07, December 20, 2009 (UTC)
AFAIK, the game doesn't even tell you your Critical Modifier. Do you mean your Accessory multiplier? Because that affects things besides just critical hits. Dazuro 22:08, December 20, 2009 (UTC)
W.e you want to call it then, Acc. multiplier, whatever. Doreiku Kuroofangu 22:09, December 20, 2009 (UTC)
What the hell are you talking about? The accessory multiplier does not determine critical hits. So unless there's also a mysterious critical hit DP chance that isn't in my copy of the game, I'd appreciate it if you'd stop reverting every damn edit I make. Especially when I'm right. I don't know why you suddenly became my personal anti-edit stalker, but I do not appreciate it. Dazuro 22:11, December 20, 2009 (UTC)
Let me start by saying fuck you. I am not stalking anybody, you just happen to be editing pages on my watchlist. Here's a vid with the DP chance, go to 9:40. As for what you appreciate, I frankly don't give a shit what you appreciate. I don't appreciate being made to look like an ignorant jackass but I live with it. Doreiku Kuroofangu 22:17, December 20, 2009 (UTC)
It is as I said. "Booster acc. multiplier." Last time I checked, there's a fairly big difference between booster accessories and critical hits. They might be able to cause critical hits (though I don't believe they can), but either way your reversion was erroneous. Interesting. But hey, by all means, keep arguing with me, and keep posting videos that prove me right. PS: I also don't appreciate being spoken to in such a vulgar tone. But apparently in Drake-world, no one matters but him. Dazuro 22:20, December 20, 2009 (UTC)
Just checked, by the way. According to this very wiki, not a single accessory in the game affects critical hit chance. Dazuro 22:23, December 20, 2009 (UTC)
