Hey, I'm Xepscern. It's finally nice to see someone on this wiki that isn't some weak, scrawny nerd besides Blue. I was starting to think everyone but me on this wiki was just some weak fools I make fun of in school. Please post a reply on my talk.

If Blue's not weak, scrawny or a nerd, and he's DEFINITELY not strong, tough, then what is he? We've already established he's an idiot, but what else is he? TELL ME! :D

It's obviouse what he is: an A-hole. He ios a class-a Ass that somehow got people to worship him and call me a clone of him.

What's your shoe size? I know that's an odd question, but I want to compare to find out Snow's height, and you're the tallest person here(in fact, I think you and me are the only people over 6 foot.)

[edit] FFXII

Why do you hate FFXII? I mean, I know Vaan and Penelo aren't the coolest characters in the series, but the other four make up for that. I know the combat system is diffrent, but unlike the sphere grid or the junction system, it actually works.

I had a good answer to that on this talk page once, it's probably in the archives. Long story short; the game has no soul; most of the characters, I don't care for; the story is about as compelling as an episode of Teletubbies; the music is beyond horrible; the gameplay is repetitive and quite frankly, they messed up on every important aspect of a Final Fantasy game. It not only was a failure as a FF game, but a game in general. People who like this game have either really low standards or no any idea about what a Final Fantasy game is about, and as such cannot be considered to be true fans on any conceivable scale. I ended up selling it. As mediocre as the original game was, I didn't end up selling it, which is a bad sign for FFXII.

It's too soon to call on whether or not the game will prove to be the death knell to a once-great series, but what I've seen on XIII so far, it's turning out to be another convoluted, badly paced game with horrible gameplay. As far as I'm concerned, until Square gets their heads out of their asses, stop focusing on their weak-ass remakes and sequels, the FF series will only suffer for it.

In short; it was boring, and I should have sold it back for the full price.

WOW! That was...WOW! I have only seen people go on about FFVIII like that.
AuronKaizer - Forever better than the rest.
TALK - Time time knocked me out of my mind. {{{time}}}
Well, what can I say? You should have seen me go on about FFVIII before I once played it while obscenely drunk and realized its awesomeness. Needless to say, drunkery didn't help in FFXII's case.
Xepscern - Aerith isn't coming back, people
TALK - {{{time}}}
True, but being extremely drunk helps in all FFs. I mean, while playing VIII drunk, Quistis took off her clothes every time I summoned(which I did A LOT). And playing VII wasted gave me a scene when Yuffie was actually standable.

Note:No matter how Fucked up you when you play XII, Vaan and Penelo will still be stupid characters.

AuronKaizer - Forever better than the rest.
TALK - Time time knocked me out of my mind. {{{time}}}
Penelo? You've gotta be kidding me; Ashe is one of the most annoying stuck-up bitches I've ever encountered in a video game. At least Penelo looks like she'd be stupid enough to put out to anyone and anything.

Another big problem is that playing FFXII drunk brings back horrible memories of browsing the game's entry on Rule34. The game has spawned the biggest amount of gay shit of all the games, and it shows. There was like 30% regular straight stuff with the rest being sickness-inducing to the max. 2 girls 1 cup is tolerable in comparison.

So FFXII has all possible things stacked against it. If only I had a cheat device to make my characters invisible, I could probably tolerate it to the point that I could finish it with the team of Vossler, Fran and that bearded guy that's cool. Wow, see? I can't even remember the names.

(Funnily enough, like VIII and Zelda: Twilight Princess before it, I'll probably like it better the second time around. Too bad I sold it. Or not. Anyway, I think SquareEnix just read this and are ceasing and desisting their crappy sequels and spin-offs as we speak. That'd be awesome, anyway.

Xepscern - Aerith isn't coming back, people
TALK - {{{time}}}
I know. I would love if you just got Fran, Basch, Balthier, and Vosseler.

Problem is, while great FFs (like VI) won't get sequels, they give a whole FUCKING TWENTY YEAR LONG period for FFVII. Now, I like VII, but can you name me one big scene that wasn't the death scene. Plus, all the VII spin-offs were SHIT, especially Vincent's Devil May Cry rip-off.

Then again, spin-offs seem to ruin everything cool. Take X, for example. I didn't really like it, but Yuna and Auron were awesome enough for me to go through the crap that was Wakka, Tidus, Rikku, Seymore, and the Hypellos. Then, X-2 did the unthinkable: they took out both cool parts. They turned Yuna into a slut, and made Auron (who could never be a dork) disappear from the game, only wishing the sluts good luck, before the final boss, with Yuna's father and Jecht (WHY THE FUCK DOES JECHT CARE).

In short, don't make spin-offs Square. Instead, focus on stuff fan-boys have been begging for, LIKE A THIRD CHRONO GAME!!!

AuronKaizer - Forever better than the rest.
TALK - Time time knocked me out of my mind. {{{time}}}
You know, as strange as it sounds, I didn't think X-2 was that bad or even took away any of X's cred. Sure, I was freakin' freaked out by the naive dialogue and cringe-worthy "dancing" things, but at least they managed to make the crappy job system entertaining for once. Hell, adding skimpy outfits didn't hurt either.

Yep, Square should really pay attention to the fans. I'd pay top dollar for a game with only Auron as the main character, preferably one where you get to kill anything ever. Seriously, Chucky Norris should just quit while he's ahead.

As for the Chrono idea, I don't know. I hated Chrono Cross. Still, I'd greatly prefer it to a Final Fantasy X-3 where you play as pudgy, middle-age Yuna having to struggle through a depression since her only true love in life was a freakin' dream.

TALK - {{{time}}}
Do you realise that what you described in the last paragraph was the basic plot of every chick-flick EVER?

Anyway, the Auron idea sounds great! I mean, Auron just screams awesome! Problem is, they will have to do that with ALL the fan-favorite FF characters. Sure, characters like Vivi, Auron, Kain, and Celes deserve their own games, but then they'll have to do people like Cloud, Tidus, Squall, and Yuffie (because, believe it or not, there people on this wiki who LIKE those fuck-tards).

As for the third Chrono game, let me re-phase it. Not exactly "Chrono 3", but more like "Chrono Trigger 2".

Portray me in a positive light (i.e. I turn out to be the villain in the end and end up killing everyone else on my party, especially should their name be BlueHighwind or Crazyswordsman) and your precious dog gets to live.

Hello AuronKaiser! I feel weird posting this...the last time someone's posted something on here was in July 2008...maybe you're not hear any more. Well, I'm Violetmage, fairly new to this wikia, and I am so glad that someone around here knows what a damn good game FFX is. Thank god, I just hate all of the FFX hate that is generated around the FFWiki. Overrated? Yes, I think that the game is a tad overrated. I don't think it's the BEST GAME EVER, but it's my favorite FF so far, having played all the games beyond FFVII. I'm really surprised that you ranked it above FFVI and FFIV, being that those two are said to be the cream of the crop or something. I'm just starting FFVI, so I'm just curious why you thought they were better. This is really long, I'm sorry. So why do you hate Blue and CrazySwordsMan so much? You've got this firey hate burning for them. Oh well...

P.S. You're from Norway! Sweet! I'm a quarter Norwegian. and P.P.S. Auron is by far my favorite Final Fantasy character. He just oozes awesome.

TALK - Time time knocked me out of my mind. 23:53, 12 May 2009 (UTC)
I don't think it's been that long since somebody last talked to me, but I've pretty much retired from FFWiki now. I'm not coming back until every FFXII fan is killed or activity lessens. Never was one for crowds...least of all, crowds of fanboys. I no longer consider myself a fan of the series, since it jumped the shark already. It ended with X.

Anyway, nice to see someone else that genuinely likes X as much (though, maybe not as much) as I do. To me, the game was a liberating experience; it had something intangible that I've seen very rarely experienced in a game. To me, it's beyond all criticism. The many really small flaws the game has are so outdone by the good that it's not even funny. And as good games as FFIV and VI are, they just don't have that dynamic "it" factor. I guess I just played it at the right point at the right time...heh, had I become a fan of the series prior to playing it, I might have found it not to be as good, in hindsight, but for me, X really is the definitive game in the series.

As for CSM, he's just a bitter, power-hungry, sarcastic individual that I find to be an unfit leader. At least he was last time I checked...and people don't really ever change, no matter how much they may or may not try. As for BH (I know you're reading this, "space monkie") the guy's just a self-absorbed, un-funny, self-promoting shill. When the community is infused with people like these...no wonder I left.

Yeah, I realize that I do sound bitter, and I can quite assure you that I am. FFWiki has degenerated into a haven for embittered, obsessed fanboys, dumb opinions and spam, and I no longer wish to be an active part of it. But still, it's people like you who apparently have a level-headed view of things for which I occasionally return, so thank you for that.

TALK - Violetmage 22:25, 14 May 2009 (UTC)
I am sorry that you have found the FFWiki less than satisfying, but in a way I cannot blame you. The arguments that people have here can be hilarious yet degrading to my intelligence. I prefer not to argue what my favorite game is, I just say FFX, and the FFWikians slit my throat. I agree with you, that no other game has captivated me as much as FFX. I was almost obsessively driven to play this game the first time I played it. Perhaps it was because it was my first TRUE Final Fantasy (Not you, FFX-2), and I had never truly experienced a JRPG before, but I'd like to deny that. Even FFIX, which comes in a close second to FFX, failed to captivate my interest at the end of the game. I think it was too short for me. I was like, "Wait? I'm done? Umm... cool." It was a letdown of how short it was. I've yet to visit the Iifa Tree...

But what annoys me is how people whine about how linear FFX is. I think that the story has many layers within its plot, and I'm a sucker for lots of twists and turns. Speaking of which, they never stopped throughout the story, which is very unusual for a Final Fantasy title. You don't find out one of the major spoilers, Auron is dead, until almost at the end of the game. I know that the game has many flaws too (blitzball, sidequests, sub-par voice acting), but I agree with you that the great parts of the game compensate for them. Hey, no game's perfect. Not even VII or VI.

And yes, I am also incredibly thankful that someone around here also has his head screwed on right.

Second AK's comments on both CSM and BH. From what I've read in old talk topics, he was always wrong and could never just admit to it, and laid down unintelligible rules, abusing his power as "the one and only BCrat". The last stand between CSM and Hecko was hilarious because of how Hecko was so right. And BH is just a twat...

I'm not a regular contributor anymore on FFWiki, no. Just come back for the funny characters and things people have to say. That and ranting, of course.
