Blond vs. blonde

Either is correct. With it being an import word, in all technicality, "blond" is the masculine form while "blonde" is the feminine form, but as English is not a gendered language, it doesn't much matter for most purposes.
Just want to nip this in the bud that we technically are supposed to use American English here according to our Manual of Style but in general we don't change things the Brits leave lying around unless we're in the section anyway. ;P Bluestarultor

- I know that blond is the British spelling but this was for the North American version, which uses "blonde". Though it is correct in England, it's incorrect in America. Which is why I added that. I understand that Brits edit this Wiki too but the spelling differences sometimes confuse those that are unfamiliar with British English so I'm used to changing them. Name pronounciations Edit
The wiki should strive to be neutral as much as possible, so it limits some things we can do, like theories, or stuff that is "implied" in a game but not said out-right (like the Vivi "death" discussion that has taken place recently). Is Quistis's name keys-tis, kwis-tis or kiss-tiss, or some other pronunciation, is unknown, so for the sake of neutrality, I don't think we can elevate one, albeit popular, pronunciation above the others as the "correct" one. A lot of the times we just have to only say what we know for sure, and the rest must be interpreted by the reader however they see it. So...no I don't think we can even make it a trivia point.
Personally I think "analysis" has a place on the wiki, but you always have to be very careful with stuff that isn't from an official source.Keltainentoukokuu 21:31, August 30, 2011 (UTC)
FFVIII & FFIX trivia: That sounds like something that could go onto the "did you know...?" template on the front page. :) "Final Fantasy VIII and Final Fantasy IX are the only main series Final Fantasy games without any remakes or sequels." Although....FFXIV is a main series Final Fantasy game too, isn't it...I don't really know what to make of it. That game is in a bit of limbo but I think it needs to be acknowledged since it is still part of the series. Of course MMOs don't have "remakes and sequels" but they do have expansions, which is sort of the same kinda thing.Keltainentoukokuu 01:48, August 31, 2011 (UTC)

- Usually the romaji translation reveals how a name is pronounced in Japan. In this case it is Kisutisu Turīpu. It's really simple to translate to English from there. Netherith 06:10, August 31, 2011 (UTC)

Keyblades Edit
Just put up the One Winged Angel keyblade on Sephiroth's page - the Guardian Soul was already on Auron's. Question still remains (even if I haven't asked it!) - should the Keyblades remain on the Masamune page - I mean, both are based on their respective Masamunes.

Hello again : D I understand what do you mean : ) But when I look at them, the designs are looking quite different from one another. Marluxia's had a small cross on it with short edges but Sice's had like another two long blades. The only thing that both share is that they're both scythe's wielder. I wasn't around at that point in time, but I've read some talk pages and it seems whenever BlueHighwind gives his opinion he has to insult "Eileen". So I looked her up and Special:Contributions/Eris and User talk:Eris are her. As far as I can tell, she was obsessed with changing pages to be her way, and when that didn't work would vandalize them. It won't pass. I've done my homework on this one, if I may use the idiom, and it makes people who do something as much as play Justin Bieber music in the background after uploading a video to YouTube makes you a filthy criminal and the website that you uploaded it to managed by filthy criminals. That breaks YouTube, Wikia, Wikipedia, and everything else, putting people out of buisness and breaking the economy.
