Hello. My name is The Final Fantasy. I have been a huge fan of the Final Fantasy for a few years now, and I hope to make several high-quality edits during my time here.
I originally had no interest whatsoever in the Final Fantasy series, let alone any knowledge of it. That was until I started playing Kingdom Hearts. As I witnessed Cloud and Sephiroth duke it out before Sora and his friends, I started to become curious about their origins. Thus my journey into the world of Final Fantasy began.
While I was doing a school project back in eighth grade, I searched desperately on YouTube for Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. I found the movie in full English, and I watched it as I worked. I found the use of bad language and increased level of violence shocking, but I loved the film all the same. I came to this Wiki for some further research on the characters, and when I learned Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children was part of a compilation, I knew my goal needed to be to find the cutscenes from the other games connected to it and watch them.
This search began with Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII-. I spent several hours on YouTube typing in dozens of different searches. Finally, I found what I was looking for; I had found all of the game's cutscenes in full English. I watched them all in order before a school dance at the start of my Freshman year of high school, and I was instantly hooked. I knew Final Fantasy was something I needed to get into. Now that I knew I wanted to be a Final Fantasy fan, I began to visit this Wiki more and more frequently. I also began a search for Dirge of Cerberus -Final Fantasy VII-'s cutscenes, which I found and watched as well.
Back on the Kingdom Hearts Wiki, the only Wiki on which I was active since the battle I'd endured with my parents trying to get them to let me join it the previous summer, many of the users were discussing Dissidia Final Fantasy, which was for the PSP. Since a game in the Kingodm Hearts series, Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, was coming out in the future for that system and I did not possess one, I used my cunning mind to ensure I obtained it. Because I wanted to get into Final Fantasy, I put both Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII- and Dissidia Final Fantasy on my Christmas list. I obtained them and a PSP, and I also obtained Dirge of Cerberus -Final Fantasy VII- for my PS2 and my own copy of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children to watch whenever I wanted. I was now all set for Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, and I had some cool new games to keep me busy while I waited for it. Since then, Dissidia Final Fantasy has become one of my favorite video games, as I owe it for expanding my Final Fantasy universe farther than the Compilation of Final Fantasy VII.
By Ocotober of my Sophomore year of high school, I had officially beaten every Final Fantasy game in my possession. I needed another to fill the void and cease my boredom. That was when I turned to Final Fantasy XIII, a game that had recently come out and I had no interest in because it wasn't related at all to Final Fantasy VII. My curiosity got the better of me in the end, and I searched for all of the game's cutscenes on YouTube. I watched them over a period of three weeks, and for once I had found a game that was better than any part of the Compilation of Final Fantasy VII. I knew for certain that I wanted Final Fantasy XIII. Sure enough, I obtained it and a plethora of other PS3 games (as well as the system itself) on Christmas of 2010. Despite the challenge that it was, Final Fantasy XIII easily became my favorite Final Fantasy game, let alone video game in general, of all time.
Having beaten Final Fantasy XIII after 70 hours of hard work a few months later (my characters were severely under-leveled), I found myself without anything to do but replay games I owned or do side-quests. That was until the prequel to Dissidia Final Fantasy, Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy, was announced. I waited for it to come out with great anticipation, and I was overjoyed to obtain my own copy of the game the day of its release as a belated birthday present. I have since bested my performance in the original Dissidia Final Fantasy, and while I initially could not benefit from the DLC offered on PlayStation Network, I was able to obtain it when I received two PlayStation Network gift cards on Christmas of 2011.
Considering how much I loved Final Fantasy XIII, I was beyond excited when Final Fantasy XIII-2 was announced. After several long months of watching trailers and Japanese gameplay videos, I finally obtained my own copy of the game in early February, 2012 (I had to wait almost a week after its true release date because I pre-ordered the Collector's Edition from Amazon). While it wasn't nearly as good as its predecessor in my opinion, Final Fantasy XIII-2 provided many hours of entertainment for me. I beat the game on my birthday, February 19th, and since then, I've been busy completing side-quests and trying to clear the game 100%.
Naturally, having nothing to do besides complete sidequests until the next big Final Fantasy title was released got very boring very quickly. For this reason, I used the last of the money on my PlayStation Network account to purchase Final Fantasy VIII, a game I had wanted to try for quite some time since I first got into Final Fantasy. Because I had played its sequels, I decided to download Final Fantasy VII, as well. I have yet to clear either game, and on Christmas day, 2012, I was lucky enough to receive Final Fantasy X, Final Fantasy X-2, and Final Fantasy XII, the only other Final Fantasy games that appealed to me. I hope and pray that these games, while no longer contemporary, are just as epic and enjoyable of an experience to me as the ones I've played in the past.
At the present time, I am anxiously awaiting the localization of Final Fantasy Type-0 and the release Final Fantasy Versus XIII and Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII. In the few short years since I became involved with the franchise, the Final Fantasy games have become one of my biggest sources of inspiration. I have several fan-game projects in the works, including Final Fantasy VII-2, Dissidia II Final Fantasy, and Fantasia Exscidium Finale: Final Fantasy XV.
Ever since I first saw Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, I have been coming to this Wiki for Final Fantasy updates and information. While I was intimidated by its size and calibur, I worked up the courage to join on Decembrer 25, 2009 under the name of Shadowed Hellfire. I didn't care for this name at all, thus I changed it to this one. I feel it shows I'm a lover of Final Fantasy in general rather than one game or character in particular, and I especially like how it isn't out-of-universe or a combination of nonsense words that somehow incorporates my real name. I hope to become a well-respected contributor here, one who is well-liked by the community and makes several high-quality edits.
As a huge fan of Final Fantasy who has been inspired by the overall epicness in every area of the games, I dream to produce my own Final Fantasy games, send them to Square Enix, and have them become real games for everyone to enjoy. I happen to be working on several Final Fantasy "games" at the present time. The first is a sequel to Dissidia Final Fantasy for the PlayStation 3 and XBox 360 that elaborates and expands upon on the story of Feral Chaos that was featured in Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy, a "game" titled Dissidia II Final Fantasy. The second is another game in the Compilation of Final Fantasy VII, specifically a sequel to Dirge of Cerberus -Final Fantasy VII- titled Final Fantasy VII-2. By far, my most ambitious project is an entirely original series of Final Fantasy games, Fantasia Exscidium Finale: Final Fantasy XV.

Even with the previously fallen warriors resurrected, the war may not be that easy to end. A new evil that transcends the might of both Cosmos and Chaos is growing stronger. The final fantasy begins!
