Edit
Eric favors the Crossbow [1] to fulfill his role as a marksman in battle. At the Junk Shop, Eric can purchase more powerful models to improve his stats.
There are four models available for Eric to use throughout the game:
- Ballista V - Initial model. Described in Weapons Monthly, March Issue.
- Cost: 100G
- Description: The Crossbow's original Ballista V model has been extensively used for basic training and first-time operatives. Its fast parabolic trajectory makes it effective against distant targets.
- Items Required: M-Stone Piece x4, Screw x2
- Windlass III - Described in Weapons Monthly, May Issue.
- Cost: 200G
- Description: The Windlass III's lighter-material frame makes it more accurate against long-distance targets. It's longer bow and bowstring makes its bolts' travel speed faster to take out enemies more quickly and efficiently.
- Items Required: Dino Bone x1, Cockatrice Pinion x2, Screw x4
- Awful Lawton - Described in Weapons Monthly, July Issue.
- Cost: 400G
- Description: Of all the Crossbow models, the Awful Lawton is the first modern design. With a sturdy composite-material frame, it can fire more variable types of bolts faster and more accurately.
- Items Required: Steel Pipe x1, Dynamo Stone x1, Magic Stone x2, Screw x6
- Triton - Described in Weapons Monthly, 1st Issue.
- Cost: 800G
- Description: The finest and most powerful of all Crossbow models. Capable of firing three bolts at once, its incomparable accuracy can down even the fastest moving targets, including the evasive Cactuar.
- Items Required: Steel Pipe x2, Turtle Shell x2, Adamantine x2, Screw x8
