A just question. I am no one and everything, and a cherry on top. Actually, make that strawberry, I don't like cherries. Yeah. Well...I'm a ne'er-do-well from Kaizerland, who wastes his time on various internet sites, such as Newgrounds, YouTube, and of course: Wikipedia, and some of its smaller branches. My mind sucks up all the useless knowledge and stores them in boxes on the planet Mars.
Me and Final Fantasy
Once upon a time, way back yonder in 1997, I was a poor person. I had been playing Super Nintendo for a while there, but could only afford a new game once each year. Then my dad bought a computer and internet, and someone on MSN told me about this phenomenal illegal thing called Emulators. So I searched around, and saw that an emulator was in fact an application that could play Snes games (and other various game console systems) on your computer! Egads! So I d'loaded one, and a big 112 games pack...and to my amazement, it worked! I was dancing in the street to the crappy music back then, woohoo buddy! And one of those games were called 'Final Fantasy IV'...I thought that might be something, and played it. And never had I seen something so vastly boring and pointless! I deleted it in 15 minutes. So later I went to buy a Nintendo 64 and some games there, and in 2000, a PS2.
In 2004, a friend of mine bought a game on special offer called 'Final Fantasy X'. We played it at his house, And I (I do this all the time to games I don't have) pointed out it sucked and was a copycat of Pirates of the Caribbean. The next day, I bought it. And boy...did I ever regret buying a game less? No.
Me and Other Games
Well. I also play other games than Final Fantasy (What a TRAVESTY!!!). In order for me to like a game, graphics aren't necessarily (and more often than not, I don't care, as is evident in Final Fantasy VII) important. What matters to me is if I like the characters involved, if I like the story, the gameplay is solid, and, not always necessary (as is evident in FFXII), if the villain rules. Hence, I hate games such as Halo, Call of Duty, and World of Warcraft. Soooo if you come waltzing in here thinking you'd see another brainless zombie wasting away in front of a dull and bleak rip-off computer world, you're wrong. All people such as you (if you are the person in question) will be sniped by Kefka from the apartment across your street.
