Description for Double

Template:Sideicon Triple is a magic spell available to the party, serving as an upgraded version to the Double spell. It inflicts the status effect of the same name on a single party member, allowing them to cast spells three times at once, at the cost of expending three spells from their stock. Similar to Double, Triple has no time limit and lasts till the end of the battle once inflicted.

Triple is one of the rarest spells and can only be drawn from bosses, a few draw points and the Islands of Heaven/Hell. It is one of the most powerful junctioning spells, second only to Ultima. The Quistis and Irvine cards can be converted into Samantha Souls and Rocket Engines, respectively, and then into Triple spells; these cards, along with any other unique card other than PuPu can be won back from the 'CC' Card Club group during endgame if the player finishes their sidequest.

Casting Triple in battle increases compatibility with Cerberus by 2 and with Carbuncle by 1, but lowers compatibility with Eden by 0.2.

Final Fantasy XIV

Template:Sideicon Triple appears as an enemy ability used by Nabriales after reaching the halfway point of his health. When used, the ability will bestow Triple status to the Nabriales, which will allow him to cast his Spark spell three times on the target with the highest enmity.

Final Fantasy XV

Template:Sideicon Tricast is an Elemancy spell available to Noctis and his party members to craft. It randomly casts Fire, Blizzard, or Thunder three times on enemies. The first spell cast by Tricast is guaranteed to hit the enemies, while the following two spells will experience a decrease in accuracy.

In addition, stronger versions of the spell called Tricast II (トリプラー, Toripurā?, lit. Triper) and Tricast III (トリプガー, Toripugā?, lit. Tripger) are available for players to craft. Tricast II will attempt to cast Fira, Blizzara, or Thundara three times on enemies, while the latter will attempt to cast Firaga, Blizzaga, or Thundaga on the enemies three times.

The tier and potency of these abilities are dependent on the amount of elemental energy and items used to craft the spell.
