Triangle Island

Triangle Island is an island in the game Final Fantasy VI. It is located in the northeast corner of the map, and is in both worlds.
In the World of Balance, a powerful enemy called the Intangir can be commonly found on Triangle Island. The Intangir is invisible and asleep at the beginning of the battle. If awakened with a spell, it casts Meteor, then resumes its invisible slumber.
In the World of Ruin, the Intangir is replaced by the Zone Eater, a giant worm that eats a party member each round. If all four party members are eaten, they reappear in a dungeon which contains many traps. Surviving them allows the player to recruit Gogo, and there is a warp near the entrance that allows the party to exit the Zone Eater's bowels.
