"Torn from the Heavens" (天より降りし力, Ten yori Kudarishi Chikara?, lit. Power from the Heavens) is the leitmotif of Final Fantasy XIV, composed by Masayoshi Soken. It is featured in many of the trailers and the official benchmark.

"Torn from the Heavens" is used as a F.A.T.E. theme and has several arrangements and variations in other tracks, such as "Frontiers Within", "Reflections", "Penitus", and the ending credits.

Bards can play the theme with their harps.

Final Fantasy XIV: HeavenswardEdit

"Torn from the Heavens" is included as part of "Heavensward" (at 2:58 mark), the main theme of the expansion. A full-orchestra recording of "Torn from the Heavens" is included as a downloadable bonus track on Heavensward: Final Fantasy XIV Original Soundtrack.
