Other AppearancesEdit

Final Fantasy VIIEdit

The Drill Arm and Chainsaw appear as weapons for Barret.

Dissidia Final FantasyEdit

The Chainsaw, Drill, and Auto Crossbow are the Hand, Head and Body armor of the Machines equipment set, with the Machine Gun as the Weapon. The equipment set's items all have among the highest stats of their type, but have the drawback of increasing the breaking chance of the player's breakable accessories by 5% each.

Dissidia 012 Final FantasyEdit

The Machine Gun weapon has been reassigned as an exclusive weapon for Laguna. The Air Anchor takes its place as the Weapon of the Machine set, with the Chainsaw, Drill and Auto Crossbow returning. The set has rebalanced stats but the same drawbacks.

Final Fantasy Trading Card GameEdit

One of Edgar's cards can use the Drill ability. For two Lightning CP, Dulling Edgar and discarding an Edgar card, Drill lets the player choose a Forward and instantly Break it.

TriviaEdit

  • When the Chainsaw's instant death attack is used, Edgar and Gogo don a hockey goalie's mask in similar fashion to Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th.
  • In the original Super NES Japanese version of Final Fantasy VI, through a bug it was possible to equip any item as a helmet. The Drill was the most powerful item for this, reflected by actually becoming a helmet in Dissidia.
