"Masters of time and space, these mages easily bend all dimension to their will."
—Description
The Time Mage, also known as Dimension Mage, is a job in Final Fantasy V obtained after the Water Crystal shatters. The Time Mage is a lesser version of the Black Mage, as it has less Magic Power than the Black Mage and has a hard time dealing damage due to the nature of its Time Magic abilities and equipment. Due to their ability to equip Rods, however, they can boost the power of elemental attacks, making them potent to use other skillsets such as Black Magic and Summon.
The usual Time Mage attire is a red robe, blue cape, giant collar, and a pointy hat. There is little variance between each of the characters, though Faris's cape and hat are teal instead of blue, and Galuf's and Krile's robes come down past their feet.
Time Magic specializes in granting buffs to the party as well as debuffing enemies. Time Mages are hard-pressed for offensive spells however, as Comet and Meteor all do random amounts of damage, and both Gravity and Graviga depend entirely on the enemies HP and type.
Upon mastery, Freelancers gain a bonus to Agility and Magic Power.
