Tiara (ティアラ, Tiara?), also known as Brass Coronet, is a recurring piece of equipment in the series. It switches on and off from being an accessory or headgear, and usually gives magical bonuses.

Final Fantasy IV[]

The Gold Hairpin (originally translated as Tiara) is a high-ranked headgear. It grants resistance to Lightning, and +7 Defense, +10 Magic Defense, +9 Magic Evasion, and +10 Intelligence. It can be bought for 20,000 gil in Tomra, found in Mist and the Lunar Ruins, or dropped from Thunder Dragons and Clockwork Dragons. In the 3D version only, a Gold Hairpin is part of Rydia's initial equipment.

Final Fantasy VI[]

Female's tiara that provides a boost to magic.

Description

The Tiara is a low-ranked headgear for Terra, Celes, and Relm that provides +22 Defense, +20 Magic Defense, and +2 Magic. The Tiara is not compatible with the Merit Award. It can bought in Narshe in the World of Balance (after acquiring the Blackjack) or in Thamasa for 3,000 gil.

Final Fantasy X-2[]

Tiara is an accessory that grants +5 Magic and Magic Defense. It can be bought for 2,500 gil in Mi'ihen Highroad travel agency (Chapters 1/2), as a gift from Baralai when spoken to in the New Yevon Headquarters in Bevelle (Chapter 1), and stolen from Leblanc at the Floating Ruins (Chapter 1).

Final Fantasy Tactics[]

A crown that boosts the potency of the wearer's magicks.

Description

Brass Coronet is a high-ranked hat that provides +60 HP, +100 MP, +3 Magick, and immunity to Silence. It can be obtained only through Rendezvous mode in the PlayStation Portable version.

Description

Tiara is one of the two best female-only ornaments (the other being the Ribbon), providing +8 Defense and +20 Magic Resistance. It can be obtained for increasing Track to Level 45, or as a reward for a "Mountain - Mountain - Mountain" Treasure Hunt.

Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift[]

Tiara is a high-ranked hat that provides +8 Defense, +20 Resistance, and teaches the ability Spellbound to the Green Mage and Scholar classes. It can be bought for 5400 gil in the shop after creating it in the Bazaar after using a Storm Sigil, Quality Pelt, and Rainbow Thread.
