Template:Sideicon Thyrus is a rare- and exclusive-type staff available to Black Mages and Summoners of all races and equippable only by characters at level 75 or above. Its has 72 DMG, 402 Delay, 10.75 DPS, and 10.3% TP.

Final Fantasy XIV

Template:Sideicon Thyrus is a Relic Weapon available for White Mages. It provides magic damage of 66, and auto-attack damage of 50.45 with an auto-attack delay of 3.44. Stat bonuses provided are Vitality +27, Mind +27, Determination +23 and Spell Speed +23. It is upgraded from the unfinished version, and can be upgraded to Zenith, Atma, Animus and Novus versions until Nirvana.

Etymology

A thyrsus or thyrsos was a wand or staff of giant fennel (ferula communis) covered with ivy vines and leaves, sometimes wound with taeniae and always topped with a pine cone.
