Those Chosen by the Planet

"Those Chosen by the Planet" is the theme that often plays when Sephiroth appears in the original Final Fantasy VII. It is his and Jenova's theme song, but has since been replaced by the far more popular "One-Winged Angel". This piece has a low orchestra accompanied by drums and bells for a sinister feel. Part of it was mixed into the themes, "Weapon Raid" and "Birth of a God". A snatch of the theme can also be heard in a piece of music titled Beyond the Wasteland in Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children.

This song first appeared in Final Fantasy V's soundtrack as "Sealed Book".
