From Final Fantasy Wiki
- "Expert bandits who espy secret passages and foil back attacks"
- —Description
The Thief is a job in Final Fantasy V, which is given to you after the Wind Crystal shatters.
[edit] Appearance
Thieves have a universal design; green. Each character also wears a bandanna or a head scarf. Bartz and Galuf mostly resemble the thief class from the original Final Fantasy and Final Fantasy III. Faris's costume is the only one that is different, with mostly yellow instead of green.
[edit] Abilities
- Job Command - Steal
- Innate Abilities - Find Passages, Vigilance, Sprint
- Equipment - Knives
The Steal command can be used to acquire items much earlier than usual, and as such, can't be overlooked. All three innate abilities are also incredibly useful: Find Passages will let you locate any hidden passage or invisible walkway, Vigilance prevents rear attack by 100%, and Sprint lets your characters run four times faster in dungeons and towns, but not on the world map.
