Thief's Hat in Final Fantasy Record Keeper [FFI].

A thief steals everything except for a fine cap. Some things are worth the money.

The Thief's Hat (シーフの帽子, Shīfu no Bōshi?) or Thief's Cap is a recurring headgear in the Final Fantasy series. It is usually a high-rank equip exclusive to Thieves, and often grants bonuses to Speed.

Appearances[]

Final Fantasy IX[]

The Thief Hat is exclusive to Zidane. It has a Defense value of 38 and also grants +3 to Evasion and a +2 Speed level up bonus. It teaches Long Reach, Mug, and Lucky Seven. It can be purchased at Black Mage Village in the endgame for 7,100 gil.

Final Fantasy XII[]

The Thief's Cap is a piece of light armor headgear that in the original version provides 36 Magick Resist, +4 Speed, +460 HP, and requires the Light Armor 9 license for 35 LP. It can be purchased at Balfonheim Port for 9,300 gil.

In the Zodiac versions, it now provides 40 Magick Resist, +460 HP, +4 Speed, and requires the Light Armor 9 license for 70 LP. It can be found as a treasure in Cerobi Steppe (Old Elanise Road) and Great Crystal (Kabonii Jilaam Avaa). It is also a common steal from Ahriman in Stage 29 of Trial Mode. It can be used by the Machinist, Monk, Archer and Shikari.

Final Fantasy Tactics[]

A hat that increases agility and protects against certain status ailments.

Description

The Thief's Cap (Thief Hat in the PS version) is a hat which grants bonuses to HP and Speed; and immunity to the Immobilize and Disable status effects.

It can be equipped by all classes except for Knights, Monks, Dragoons, and Samurai. It can be bought in the shop after the storyline battle at Underground Cemetery of Limberry Castle on Chapter 4 for 35,000 gil. It can also be discovered as a rare treasure in the Eagrose Castle with Treasure Hunter.

Final Fantasy Tactics Advance[]

Hat said to have belonged to a notorious thief.

Description

The Thief Hat increases Defense by 8, Resistance by 6, and Evade by 7. It also has the innate ability to nullify Immobilize and Disable, and can be obtained as a random reward for completing a mission or by increasing Track to Level 10.

Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift[]

The Thief's Cap prevents Immobilize and teaches Absorb Damage to Tricksters and Vikings. It grants +8 Defense, +6 Resistance, and +5 Evasion, and can be bought for 1280 Gil in the shop after creating it in the Bazaar after using a Dark Stone, Tanned Tyrant Hide, and Windslicer Pinion.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates[]

The Bandit Bandana gives +1 Attack and Magic, and +22 Defense. The Crook's Kerchief gives +2 Attack, +52 Defense, and +2 Magic.

Dissidia Final Fantasy[]

The Thief's Cap raises Bravery by 290 and boosts the drop rate of items after a battle by 1.2x. It can be obtained from the shop by trading 13,610 gil, a Headband, Sacred Beast Wing x4, and a Strength Shard.

Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy[]

Thief's Cap is a level 60 hat that provides +269 Bravery and +20% Drop Rate. It can be obtained by trading 67,500 gil, Dark Hat, Siren's Veil, and Lady's Hopes x5.
