"The Final Battle" (最後の闘い, Saigo no Tatakai?), also known as "Zeromus", is the final boss theme from Final Fantasy IV. It was composed and arranged by Nobuo Uematsu.

"The Final Battle" plays during the battle between Cecil Harvey's party and Zeromus at the Lunar Core. It is track 43 on the Final Fantasy IV: Original Sound Version and the North American release Final Fantasy IV Official Soundtrack: Music from Final Fantasy Chronicles.

It was remastered and released on the Final Fantasy IV Original Soundtrack Remaster Version and later on the Revival Disc.

In Final Fantasy IV Advance, "The Final Battle" was rearranged for the Game Boy Advance and was released as track 43 of disc 1 on the Final Fantasy Finest Box.

In the Advance and The Complete Collection releases, it also plays during the battle with Zeromus EG.

"The Final Battle" was rearranged by Junya Nakano for the 3D remake on the Nintendo DS, heard during the final battle, as well as the fight with Proto-Babil. This version was released as track 19 of disc 2 on the DS version of the original soundtrack.

"The Final Battle FFPR Ver." is a rearrangement by Masaya Tsunemoto for the Pixel Remaster. It is track 43 on the Final Fantasy IV Pixel Remaster Original Soundtrack.

"FINAL FANTASY IV: The Final Battle (Endwalker)" is track 1 on the Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker - EP5 digital mini album and is track 74 on the Growing Light: Final Fantasy XIV Original Soundtrack.

Final Fantasy XV[]

The original version appears in the music player as the fifth track of Memories of FFIV purchased from Hammerhead for 100 gil.

"The Final Battle" is also available as track 38 on the limited edition Blu-ray disc of the Final Fantasy XV: Original Soundtrack.

Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy[]

The original version of "The Final Battle" is part of the Final Fantasy IV Music Pack DLC distributed through the PlayStation Network. It may be automatically selected for Arcade and Quick Battles featuring Cecil, Golbez or Kain Highwind, or taking place at the Lunar Subterrane.

Dissidia Final Fantasy NT[]

A new techno-rock arrangement by Takeharu Ishimoto is available as default battle music. The original SNES version can be bought for 3,600 gil from the in-game shop.

"The Final Battle (Arrangement)" is track 10 of disc 1 on the Dissidia Final Fantasy -Arcade- Original Soundtrack and track 14 on the Dissidia Final Fantasy NT Original Soundtrack.

Cid to Chocobo no Fushigi na Dungeon: Toki Wasure no Meikyū DS+[]

An arrangement of "The Final Battle" appears in the Nintendo DS port of Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo's Dungeon. It plays during the battle against Shinryu at the top floor of Chocobo's Memories. The track has not been officially released.

"Omega Battle" (オメガ戦, Omega-sen?) is an arrangement of "The Final Battle" by Hidenori Iwasaki that plays during the boss battle against Omega. It is track 23 on the Chocobo's Mystery Dungeon Every Buddy! Original Soundtrack.

"The Final Battle" is arranged into "Battle With the Four Fiends (FFRK Ver. Arrange from FFIV)" by Yoshitaka Suzuki. It is track 15 on the Final Fantasy Record Keeper Original Soundtrack.

"The Final Battle FFRK Ver. arrange from FFIV" is an arrangement by Masahiro Aoki that appears in the game. It is track 6 of disc 1 on the Final Fantasy Record Keeper Original Soundtrack Vol.3.

The Black Mages II: The Skies Above[]

"The Final Battle" was rearranged by Kenichiro Fukui and included in The Black Mages' second studio album and titled "Zeromus".

Battle SQ[]

The track appears in the arrangement album featuring battle tracks from several Square Enix games. It is the second part of the mash up with "Battle 1", also from Final Fantasy IV. It was arranged by shibuyamicrofuture.
