A Hyur hailing from Eorzea who appears in the tales of the world of Hydaelyn. Although he claims to be a wandering bard, Thancred is actually one of the Scions of the Seventh Dawn, and heads an investigation being conducted in the desert city of Ul'dah. While a smooth-talker with a fondness for women off the field, the way he effectively overwhelms his opponents in battle shows no signs of delicacy. In the past, he lived as a thief on the streets of Limsa Liminsa until he met a sage by the name of Louisoix who persuaded him to turn his life around.
Thancred appears as a limited-time vision available during the March on Ifrit and March on Titan events. In March on Ifrit, he could be obtained by reaching 20,000 event points, or by spending Ifrit Raid Coins at the special Final Fantasy XIV Raid Summon banner. Within the event period, Trust Moogles for his Trust Master reward were available for summoning as well, each raising his Trust meter by 5%. Exclusive equipment and awakening materials for him were available during the event as well.
In the Titan raid event, Thancred could be obtained by reaching 302,000 event points, or by spending Titan Raid Coins at the special Raid Summon banner. The recipes for his exclusive equipment and awakening materials were once again available.
A 3-5★ Rare Summon, Thancred's job is listed as Scion, and his roles are Physical Damage and Tank. He has no innate element or status ailment resistances. His Trust Master reward is the Follower's Oath passive ability.
His awakening materials are the following:
