Thancred is a male Hyur who plays an important role in the Ul'dah storyline of Final Fantasy XIV.

He is a suave smooth-talker with a fondness for women, and is quite intelligent. He also has tattoos on both sides of his neck, a trait that he shares with Yda, Papalymo, and Y'shtola, as all are members of the Circle of Knowing.
