Before we go wild and start making five hundred pages, which most will need to be moved, merged, deleted or rewritten before the release, can people please wait until we have a bit of information? This is a pro-active request; what everyone has done so far is fine and dandy, but let's all get a bit of a reign on things BEFORE they get out of hand. Thanks, over and out! Is this the template I made? And where Terra, Kuja and Jecht at? NeoZEROX 19:31, September 18, 2010 (UTC)
I guess whoever made the template left them out since their alliegances are ambiguous atm. Doreiku Kuroofangu 19:32, September 18, 2010 (UTC)
Should I go ahead and add them, I'm sure Terra and Kuja switch sides but Jecht should still be on Chaos' side sense him and Tidus are still fighting against each other? NeoZEROX 19:35, September 18, 2010 (UTC)
Kuja we know for certain by the TGS trailer is on Cosmos' side, but Terra and Jecht, not so sure yet. So I'd say add them to Cosmos and Chaos, respectively. Tidus and Jecht fighting doesn't necessarily mean they're on opposite sides, we've seen in-fighting on both sides before. Doreiku Kuroofangu 19:54, September 18, 2010 (UTC)
True, Jecht was one before but I'm really sure Terra is on Chaos' side, her face and eyes looked like she being control by something maybe something to due to the wings she has on and ether Kefka or The Emperor is controlling her. NeoZEROX 20:01, September 18, 2010 (UTC)
It's probably better if we create a temporary section in the template for characters whose alignments have not been absolutely confirmed yet (IE, Terra and Kuja). That way, we won't have debates in regards to this sort of thing and edit wars. We can place them in their true alignments only after it is officially confirmed, and by that, I mean more than the gamespot trailer. Weedle McHairybug 02:21, October 4, 2010 (UTC)

Jecht Edit

The new Jump Fiesta trailer proves, at least for part of the game, he's on Team Cosmos - he's with the other Light Warriors in the trailer's intro when they stand before Cosmos, and there's a scene where the Emperor asks Chaos to infuse Jecht with his power. So yeah, for now anyway Jecht's a good guy. DoreikuKuroofangu - Visit the Soul Shrine! 19:46, December 24, 2010 (UTC)

Three Cosmos representatives from FFX is fail. Especially when they had Seymour to choose from over Yuna. 23:53, December 24, 2010 (UTC)

Character Force Alignment Edit

Could someone tell me how Tidus got to Chaos's side? And if there are any as of now character alignment changes inform me. It's all pretty weird.—Kaimi (999,999 CP/5 TP) 17:27, January 19, 2011 (UTC)

Tidus and Cloud have both been confirmed to be on Chaos for as-yet unknown reasons. Terra's alignment is really still unknown, though I think I saw her on the Chaos side. Jimcloud Cloud Chocobo 18:52, January 19, 2011 (UTC)
Oh, almost forgot. Jecht is Cosmos, Kuja is probably Cosmos. Not so sure on Kuja. Jimcloud Cloud Chocobo 18:55, January 19, 2011 (UTC)
Wait for the game. - Henryacores^ 18:55, January 19, 2011 (UTC)

Why would Kuja be on Cosmos's side? Would it be connected with FFIX Garland? But still that Garland was a bad guy, as well.—Kaimi (999,999 CP/5 TP) 20:03, January 19, 2011 (UTC)

I do not know these things. I do not work with Square-Enix. Sorry. Jimcloud Cloud Chocobo 20:05, January 19, 2011 (UTC)
Apparantly he's a double-agent for chaos, he's on cosmos's side to sabotage tem from within--ShadowsTwilightDissicon ff4 Kain1 20:10, January 19, 2011 (UTC)

Alright it is time to put the characters who's alignment has been confirmed,to be put in the approiate sections.I will get on this very soon.Aby objections?--Dream 02:36, January 20, 2011 (UTC)

Wait, what the hell are you doing? They're still new characters. They stay in the new characters section. Dazuro 02:45, January 20, 2011 (UTC)

They have to be put in the alignment they belong to.--Lord of the Dark Depths 02:50, January 20, 2011 (UTC)

Why? Dazuro 02:55, January 20, 2011 (UTC)

Terra, Cloud and Tidus are still Warrior of Cosmos while Jecht is still a Warrior of Chaos, Jecht still has the Chaos victory theme and his artwork is still facing like the other Warrior of Chaos while Terra, Cloud and Tidus' artworks faces with Warrior of Cosmos, it only in the story that they switch sides but in gameplay they're still on the same side as they were in the first Dissida. I don't we should switch and keep to what it was. NeoZEROX 03:11, January 20, 2011 (UTC)

@Dazuro: to keep both the table and the wiki as accurate and professional looking as possible. if the game says that cloud is on the side of chaos, put him with chaos's lot, etc. as for the new characters, it's hardly professional to keep the 'new characters' section when you know who they are alligned with. --ShadowsTwilightDissicon ff4 Kain1 03:38, January 20, 2011 (UTC)

Please don't comment on a situation if you clearly know nothing about it. Dazuro 03:48, January 20, 2011 (UTC)

I think why Tidus supports Chaos: Tidus hated his father since his childhood. Jecht must be on Cosmos's side as he with Braska (here he will be replaced by his daughter Yunie) where on pilgrimage to stop Sin (kinda sounds like Warrior of Light). I heard Cloud will be with Chaos due to Jenova (Jenova cells are in Cloud, right?).—Kaimi (999,999 CP/5 TP) 16:39, January 20, 2011 (UTC)

Alright look there sides have already been confirmed.Only characters who's sides have not been confirmed should be in the New characters section.--Lord of the Dark Depths 21:50, January 20, 2011 (UTC)

No, because they're still new characters. On the main Dissidia page, they're also listed by returning vs. new. Why is this such a big deal to you? Also, the sides aren't 100% confirmed, apparently Tidus and Terra will be "returning" to Cosmos later in the story. Dazuro 19:46, January 21, 2011 (UTC)

Characters who sides have been confiremd should be in the appriate section mainly because we know which sides their on.There is no proof that the characters will be switching sides during the plotline well expect for Jecht.--Lord of the Dark Depths 20:10, February 7, 2011 (UTC)

It's still better to list the new characters separate, they're the main focus on the prequel and so should be listed apart from the returning cast. DoreikuKuroofangu 20:37, February 7, 2011 (UTC)

I think it would be easy to notice if there are new characters in this game unless your blind. If you are blind then don't use the intrenet. We should just list the new characters as seperate on a page that lists the dissidia 012 characters.--Lord of the Dark Depths 20:41, February 7, 2011 (UTC)

And your well-thought out, reasonable argument for not listing them separate is....? DoreikuKuroofangu 20:42, February 7, 2011 (UTC)

The sides have already been confirmed we should just keep a temporary section for characters whose sides have not been confirmed.--Lord of the Dark Depths 20:44, February 7, 2011 (UTC)

"a temporary section for characters whose sides have not been confirmed." - it is nothing of the sort, nor have I claimed it to be. Try again. DoreikuKuroofangu 20:46, February 7, 2011 (UTC)

My last argument was reasonable we should keep a temporary template section for characters whose sides have not been confirmed yet. Thats all there is to it.--Lord of the Dark Depths 20:48, February 7, 2011 (UTC)

You are not getting it, are you? This is absolutely nothing to do with sides, it has to do with it making more sense to list the new characters separate on the account that they're new. Respond to what I'm actually saying. DoreikuKuroofangu 20:49, February 7, 2011 (UTC)

There are always new characters in a new game yet for other new game templates that represent a a prequel or sequel game we do not have a seperate new characters section.--Lord of the Dark Depths 20:53, February 7, 2011 (UTC)

Well we don't often have sequels in Final Fantasy, but thinking on it, that's X-2, which is needless since it's only Paine that's new to the party, and TAY, which yeah we could do a new character section for. Also for future reference, "we've never done it before" is never, ever, a valid argument. DoreikuKuroofangu 20:55, February 7, 2011 (UTC)

I never said "we never done it before" was a valid argument.New character section is not appriate game wise because there are already more appriate sections that characters belong to on the template.--Lord of the Dark Depths 21:00, February 7, 2011 (UTC)

TALK - 20:19, February 24, 2011 (UTC)
Is it okay if I move all the new characters to their respected sides, instead of giving them all their own section.

Desperado Chaos Edit

I added Desperado Chaos to the "New Characters" section, but since he doesn't have his own page yet, I linked his name to boss Chaos instead. Tyranogre 18:21, March 2, 2011 (UTC)

Move Edit

I think its time we move the characters to their respective sides.--Lord of the Dark Depths 20:12, March 14, 2011 (UTC)

I think they should be kept that way. And if sidings are meant to be used, the first who adds Prishe and Gilgamesh to the factions is the one I'll toss a stone at. - Henryacores^ 21:11, March 14, 2011 (UTC)

Sure they are new characters but we don't have a new characters section on every template of a game that has a new character added. So why is this one an expection?--Lord of the Dark Depths 21:50, March 14, 2011 (UTC)

They should be moved as there isn't a new characters section on the Final Fantasy XIII-2 template. FF9 08:45, July 25, 2011 (UTC)

Hm, there is a complication with that, though. D012 contains DFF; this situation is, AFAIK, unique in the series, so it's natural that the character list gets special treatment. By contrast, XIII-2 is a straight sequel – it doesn't overlap with XIII, so there are no complications -- Sorceror Nobody Flan 22:19, July 25, 2011 (UTC)
They shouldn't because Dissidia 012 and XIII-2 are not the same nor fall under similar circumstances. - Henryacores^ 18:42, April 15, 2012 (UTC)

World A/FF1 Locations Edit

Should we add them to the the Locations lists? Numerous gateways and teleport stones are named for them and appear in the same locations, towns and castles are represented by ruins, and occasionally a location is referred to by name (in Chapter 5, the moogle who works near Pravoka uses the town's name when he declares "Pravoka moogle shop now delivers"). Not all the FF1 locations appear, but many. Doreiku Kuroofangu 05:35, September 12, 2012 (UTC)
