Prefers BfD's edit. Makes Dissidia look less like a game stealing other characters, and more as a game in its own right, with villains and heroes. Rather than just games' characters.  ILHI 19:54, 5 September 2008 (UTC)

I like how the Template is about one fifth it's former size. The division by games thing was making it far too big with wasted space.

Is it actually fine to count it as a playable hero? I don't think these secret characters will be counted as either for cosmos or for chaos.  ILHI 19:35, 22 November 2008 (UTC)

SHE is an NPC in FFXI that helps the heroes so I assume she's on the side of Cosmos. EDIT:

As you can see her icon image is facing left. All the Heroes icon face left while villains face right. Also in that first image she is standing in the Arena where all the Heroes stand in the CG video.
Her icon facing that way is odd. 'd thought they would flip them to always face inwards. (Or made another icon for the other side of their face for non-symmetrical people)  ILHI 20:30, 22 November 2008 (UTC)

Look at every other screenshot and you'll see the heroes face left while the villains face right. This could be a possible reference to the old school games where heroes sprties face left while the villains sprites face right in the battle screen.

Must be a glitch, but the link to her article ocasionally appears as a red link. When I click on it, it takes me to its edit page.

Oh, and I vote toward secret characters getting their own section.

Shantotto is on the side of Cosmos. Every press release has stated as much. Whether or not she's a playable character is a bit of a mystery though.

Shouldn't it be Warriors of Cosmos instead of playable heroes? (same goes for villains)

You're right, in my opinion anyway, since every hero and villain is playable in this game, with the exception of Chaos.

Museum Edit

Ok, this has been sitting red in the template for a few days now. What did we want to put ON this page, anyway? -- Lycentia Stuffcocoa 07:46, September 22, 2009 (UTC)

It will show the stuff that you are or will be able to see in the Museum, how to unlock extras, replay editor, etc. (I see you've been meddling with my picture linking >:D) --Silver Mage Omega FF5 09:22, September 22, 2009 (UTC)

I think a page dedicated to allusions might be a good idea... in addition to having the allusion sections on individual pages. Anyone else think the same?  ILHI 17:41, November 3, 2009 (UTC)

Not a bad idea. Drake Clawfang 17:44, November 3, 2009 (UTC)

Names Edit

Do we have to feature the full names of the characters? Like, "Terra Branford", "Cloud Strife", etc. Can't we just use their first names like in the game? Drake Clawfang 22:31, November 23, 2009 (UTC)

Both full and first names are used in the game. I have mixed feelings about which one to use. - Henryacores^ 22:35, November 23, 2009 (UTC)
Well I'm not sure about where the full names are used, but the battle intros use the first name only. Drake Clawfang 22:40, November 23, 2009 (UTC)
Character Select Menu and Character Files. - Henryacores^ 22:42, November 23, 2009 (UTC)
Ah, my mistake then....well I still propose the question, full names or first names. I admit the first-names only would look more pleasing to me, since then both the Hero and Villain rosters would only take up one line in the template. Drake Clawfang 22:43, November 23, 2009 (UTC)
Actually, I confused it with the JPN version. In the English version, surnames aren't shown in any of the places I spoke of. - Henryacores^ 23:26, November 23, 2009 (UTC)

I've said it before when Oasis came up, and if I haven't I've meant to so I'll say it now: sucks for them. Doreiku Kuroofangu 06:52, November 11, 2010 (UTC)
Great policy thar. ¬_¬ 21:34, November 11, 2010 (UTC)
Works for me! ^_^ Doreiku Kuroofangu 22:02, November 11, 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, that's because MediaWiki:Common.css has to be copied onto MediaWiki:Wikia.css. We have to update them both which is really annoying. 21:34, November 11, 2010 (UTC)
Hang on, this is Dissidia, not Dissidia 012. It already is in the Wikia.css so it does actually work. 21:35, November 11, 2010 (UTC)

Museum Edit

The FF13 and FF12 enemy pages give the Datalog and Bestiary entries, respectively. Add the museum profiles to the character pages for Dissidia? Drake Clawfang (talk) 03:04, August 8, 2013 (UTC)
