13:57, 31 May 2009 (UTC) —W/B We don't one. Template:FFII, Template:FFIV, Template:FFV: They list the characters and they go on characters pages. HOWEVER, adding the "List of Final Fantasy * Characters" as a new section might not be a bad idea. We do have Template:Characterlists but I've had a falling out with that design.

14:09, 31 May 2009 (UTC) —W/B Sometimes I think you use the confusing of your left and right as a recurring joke. Seriously. The thing about the top-right-corner things made it easier to navigate. All other navs had it at the bottom, meant you have to scroll down to the bottom, click show, go to the next one. Nowadays I have to open up the template in a tab, and then Ctrl+[click] each different one to view them all rather than hopping from one to another. I just can't think of a way to rid of Template:Locationlists.

I might do something about Locations later on, like set up a template for Locations that lists every location from each game, as well as those on that template maybe? Problem is is that both templates are going to be huge if done this way so......

As far as I know: FF; FFII; FFIII; FFIV(; After); FFV; FFVI; FFVII(;AC; DC; BC; CC); FFVIII; FFIX; FFX(; FFX-2); FFXI; FFXII(; RW) Then I presume it's the Tactics three, and then Vagrant Story below because it's Ivalice, CrystChronicles and its belongings; Mystic Quest; Unlimited; Spirits Within. Where does ChocoSeries go? And any others that may exist.. An order is used for things like Disambigs and series articles. One would be useful.

So in the following sub-sections I'm going to ask if we should make character pages for certain games. Yeah, I mainly want to see your opinion on whether we should make character pages for these.

• Do we create a "List of Dirge of Cerberus Lost Episode -Final Fantasy VII- Characters" article, or do we add it to the bottom of the List of Dirge of Cerberus -Final Fantasy VII- Characters article? My thoughts: Either of the two but I think there should be one. Though I know nothing about the game.

• On the way to a Smile, The Maiden who Travels the Planet and Snowboarding. I think On the way to a Smile should, Not sure about Hoshi wo(? Maiden), doesn't sound too bad of an idea though. Snowboarding, again, I know nothing about this game, probably isn't worth it.

• Dive II Hunt: We could do. It could also have kwl pictures of the "enemies" on it too. Though the main article could suffice. We don't have a lot of coverage on this despite the easy access. There isn't a lot to write about it, but we could write more than we do have.

• Crystal Defenders: I'm inexperienced on this game, are their any real characters or are the all generics? If they are, then the List of Jobs and List of Enemies we have for this page work. Except we don't have the jobs page.

• Echoes of Time: If it has a good amount of named characters, than this definitely should be created.

• Same as above replacing "Echoes of Time" with "The Crystal Bearers".

• Adventure: Okay, we're not giving full coverage to this game (why?) but I'll assume we're giving it half-coverage. Which includes the lists. Right?

• Again, we don't give full coverage, but a list of characters isn't too much to ask. And then the same goes for the rest of Legend games.

• Chocobo Series: Most of the individual games deserve their own character lists. I know little about the games but they have a lot of their own characters. I especially want to see a Chocobo Racing one.  ILHI ^(W/B) 20:22, 4 June 2009 (UTC)

Xenomic TALK - 20:28, 4 June 2009 (UTC) Here's my opinion on the whole thing - Doc: LE - I say add it to the List of DoC article. Having a separate article for it would be silly IMO since it's still the same game, just basically an expansion of it. Legend/Adventure - I can see doing the lists for these, though I'm inexperienced on them as well. Though I though Legends 2 & 3 weren't FF games? >.> Minor Compilation Stuff - Snowboarding would be pointless to do IMO. On A Way to A Smile, possibly, since there's SOME characters from it that aren't anywhere else, but there's probably what.....4-5 at best? As for Maiden, I know nothing about it, so I can't say anything on it. Hope that helps some eh? ^^

We could make a "List of Compilation of Final Fantasy VII Characters" and then divide the page into sections for each game... actually, that sounds like a good idea to me anyways. I have the same position on DOC: LE as Xenomic. Crystal Chronicles series definitely, Chocobo series yes. I'm rather clueless as to our stance on Adventure/Legend. Diablo's the one who knows most about how these games are related to the FF series (I do know one of them branched off into Legend of Mana or something, but that's about it) so you should ask him.

It wouldn't serve much of a purpose except to avoid smaller articles, but there are meant to be. And Chocobo Series games should therefore get their own character pages and not just a "List of Chocobo Series Characters" page. A lot of Chocobo Series games are very unrelated to each other.

Each game in those series should receive its own list; sorry about my wording. I guess whichever game/media in the Comp of VII that has ample characters should get its own page. Even if the characters in Snowboarding are redundant, we could put in pictures of their appearances in each respective, seperate page.
