Templar, also known as Temple Knight, is a special job class from Final Fantasy Tactics. Beowulf's default job class, this job is a mix of physical and magical classes, using a sword to cast harmful magics, essentially making it an extraordinarily powerful Mystic with the drawback, naturally, of needing a sword to access the job's special abilities. (but with the benefit of not having a charge time for the skills) Fortunately the Runeblade gives a +2 magic bonus to counter this and can be bought later in the game. It costs 4340 JP to master this job.
In The War of the Lions, Beowulf's friend and rival Aliste Rosenheim also has this job.
A devout knight who defends the Church from heretics. Uses Spellblade techniques to strike down the enemy.
